Victoria Hernandez

Victoria was born in Dallas, TX on November 7, 1952, to Christobal Lara and Socorro Cruz Lara. She attended North Dallas High school. Victoria was married to Ernesto Hernandez for over 30years.

Victoria worked in costumer services for Exquire Cleaners for over 15yrs. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, having cook outs, laughing and above all loving her family. She was also actively involved in the church of “Our Lady Guadalupe” Catholic Church.

Victoria is preceded in death by her mother Socorro Cruz Lara; father Christobal Lara; stepfather Baldomaro Martinez; sister Guadelupe Lara Rodriquez; brother Christobal Lara; sister Cecelia Lara.

Victoria is survived by her husband Ernesto Hernandez; children Irene and Tuddy Lopez, Venancio and Rosie Pena, Robert and Kimberly Pena, Rebecca Pena and Maria C. Pena; grandchildren: Denise and Johnny Peck, Jesse Pena, Mario Mendoza, Michael and Kristen Pena, Briley and Miranda Pena, Joseph and Cynthia Pena, Steven Pena, Angelina Pena, Faith and Justin Strange, Eliza M. Honea, Hanna and Mason Pena, Eric M. Honea, Jonathan R. Honea, Garran W. Starnes Jr, Lalia E. Starnes, Joshua X. Starnes, AJ, Alyssa, Haley, Savannah, Jacob Lopez, Brittany and Joel Alonso, Jacob and Chelsey Gonzales; great grandchildren: Marciano, Armando, Mia, Baby Anthony, Jacob, Mariah, Jordan, Baby Mario, Ryan, Delilah, Camila, Hailey, Gracie, Fenyx, Aspen, Braylee, Brennan, Dakota, Chandler, Matthew, Keilan, Aria, Alfonso, Brooklyn, Xavier, Julissa, Juliette, Elylah; brothers and sisters: Carmen Lara Solis, Dolores Lara Solis, Maria Lara Garcia, Pedro and Lydia Lara, Santos Lara, Edward Lara, Victor Lara, along with countless nieces and nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Victoria will be held Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
