Thomas Malcolm Cole was born June 17, 1934 in New York, New York, to parents Malcolm Lewis Cole and Marjorie Buchbinder Cole. He attended the McBurney elementary school and graduated from Pace College in New York City in 1956 with a B.B.A. in Marketing. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. Tom was a top salesman in the Textile Industry for Greenwood Mills for 28 years and then ran his own successful textile sales business for 20 years. He also was a youth sports coach and manager for many years. He loved every sport, loved playing tennis and golf and was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. He is survived by his wife, Claudia, three children; Jeff Cole of Devil's Elbow, Mo., Pamela Rodgers of College Station, TX., and David Cole of Plano, TX; grandchildren; Christopher Cole and Tommy Cole; great grandchildren; Tanner Cole and Madison Ann Cole and Brother; Donald Cole of Vashon Island, WA. He was devoted to his family and friends. Tom Cole was a gentleman and a friend and we will all dearly miss him!
