Despite being born in St. Louis, Terry was a true Texan at heart. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Myrna, daughter, Terry Lynn, and sisters, Marilyn Dooley and Pat Fallon. He was preceded in death by their son, Todd, in 1976.
Terry was a man of good humor with a booming voice. He loved to sing and was proud to be overheard at Mass every week. His many jokes entertained us all. He always had a good story to tell and tell again and again.
Terry truly enjoyed his years and classmates at Jesuit (‘52). He was on the boards of Jesuit Alumni, St. Paul Foundation, and was even a member of St. Paul’s Ladies Auxiliary.
After graduating from UNT with a major in linguistics, the Army drafted him for service in Germany where his language skills were put to good use. Terry and Myrna enjoyed traveling and much time was spent skiing with family and friends in Utah year after year. Summers and weekends were spent at the “grand” cabin at Lake Dallas. His business career focused on sales throughout his life and his big personality was a perfect match for the job. He started by selling soap for Proctor & Gamble and tools for SK. Every job thereafter brought him success in sales and management, ending as a National Sales Executive.
For a man of great size, Terry was gentle and kind to anyone in need, except perhaps to any Cowboys opponent. He always rooted for his "Boys" and loved the Texas Rangers, especially when 7 runs meant a half-priced pizza. We’ll always be waiting for your next great story, Terry.
