Sunday was born in Stanton, Texas on September 21st, 1972. In his early life, Sunday, also known as Jr. or Peanut, grew up in Midland, Texas alongside his family and relatives. After high school, he moved to Dallas where he worked with several companies as a logistics coordinator.
In 1995, Sunday married Alma Hernandez. Shortly after, Sunday and Alma welcomed their first-born son, Jonathan Arredondo in 1997. In 1998, they welcomed their second son, Angel Arredondo.
Sunday's life revolved around his sons, from attending soccer games to eventually becoming their soccer coach. Sunday worked at All-Metals Fabricating for 18 years as a delivery driver, in the Shipping and Receiving department. He proceeded to continue his logistics career at AZZ Surface Technologies as a logistics coordinator. Sunday enjoyed attending social gatherings, from family events to spending time with friends at the local VFW, where he will be greatly missed throughout the community.
He is survived by his Parents: Lupe Nunez and John C Nunez. Sisters: Cristina Sanchez and Melissa Nunez-Grower. Children: Jonathan Arredondo and Angel Arredondo. And many nieces and nephews.
Sunday touched the hearts of so many. Those who crossed paths with Sunday viewed him as a friend, father, or brother. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, laugh, charisma, and his compassion for others.
A visitation for Sunday will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
