Stephen (Steve) Ciganek, born the 8th of October, 1947, has passed away at his home in Glenn Heights, TX at the age of 68. Family and friends will gather at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park for a graveside services at 10:00 AM on the 23rd day of September, 2016. Steve is survived by his two sons, Stephen Ciganek II and Timothy Ciganek; his step-sons, Joseph Thompson, Johnny Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Jay Thompson; and a brother, Roman A. Ciganek (Joan) and a sister, Barbara Ciganek Zehm (Jim McDaniel) - and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Adelina Thompson and grandson, Aden Pierce. Steve is well known for his long career in the postal industry and carried letters for upwards of 20 years before his retirement. He enjoyed annual fishing trips with his friends, going dancing with his wife, competing in dart tournaments and preparing a variety of delicious food. “And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.”
