So very sorry to just now learn of Sennie's passing. We shared the same pew at church (before Covid), and became close acquaintances; often joking of who would retire first. He couldn't believe I beat him to it. It was a running joke between us.  I'll miss his dry humor and quick wit. Rest well my friend. You're missed.

I had the extreme pleasure of working with Sennie in the Timberview High School AFJROTC for 14 years! He was a wonderful man with a kind and caring heart! His legacy will live on with all the high school students whose lives he touched! I learned a lot from this man and will sorely miss him. May you have peace in knowing he is  now in paradise with our Savior! May God bless you and comfort you as you celebrate his memory!

Sennie we miss you. We will always miss you my brother. The friendship and camaraderie, big smiles, big handshakes, big hugs and  expressions of care & concern do not began to describe the guy, man you are.  We raised our kids together. My kids were your kids.  Thank you!  Vacations in Florida were outstanding.  Still remember the great barbecue lessons.  Unfortunately, I never achieved barbecue greatness but still trying.  We will miss you!

Dear Ms. Shirley, extended family, and friends of Sennie.  He was a true friend, whom will be missed.  He served his country with distinction in and retiring from the US Air Force. Well done! He was also a great mentor for many in serving as a JROTC Instructor.  Know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you.  Hold  onto the precious memories of him that you shared together.  To be absent from the body is to be with the Lord.  We of faith know where he is. May you each feel the Lord's presence, love, and comfort as you grieve. Do look to the 23rd Psalm for support and guidance as you go forth.  As God will tenderly comfort you, "II Corinthians 1:7". Sennie and Nolan were the big boys I looked up to when I visited Uniontown in the 1960’s.  I miss those guys.

To the Cox Family, I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your love one.  May God give each of you comfort and strength during this difficult time.  My God bless each of you.

To the family of Senior Master Sergeant retired Sennie Cox, my family and I extend our deepest sympathies to his loved ones. He made a difference in a lot of lives, and he did so with grace. For me, personally, he was my first touch point with Air Force Special Operations Command and the 16th Special Operations Squadron! He expertly led me through the application process and selection for special duty as an AC-130H aerial gunner.  

He was a great man and leader! I am so proud of his service and grateful for his dedication to the mission!

May he rest in eternal peace!
