Mrs. Sadie Mae Crowder Johnson Rhodes was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Willie Mae Crowder in Dangerfield, Texas she graduated from Emmett Scott High School and studied at Texas College in Tyler, Texas.
Sadie Mae Crowder married Willis Johnson to this union was born 5 children, Mae Charles Johnson-Beck, Charles E. Johnson, John W. Johnson preceded her in death, Raymond Johnson, Linda E. Johnson-Williams and special son in law Johnny Williams whom she loved like a son that took special care of her for more than thirty years. In 1965 she remarried Nathaniel Rhodes preceded her in death to this union was born Eileen Johnson-Rhodes.
After establish permanent residence in Dallas, Texas the family united with Magnolia C.M.E. until her health failed. This beautiful life came to a close on September 2, 2022 at 4:16 pm.
She leaves to cherish her memories sister, Willie M. Cooks, Dallas, Texas; brother, Jessie Crowder, Tyler, Texas; sister, Gladys Crowder-Thompson preceded her in death, Arrie Crowder and Arthur Mack Crowder preceded her in death; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great children, eight great-great grandchildren, grandson Jadari Beck who preceded her in death, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and special friends Iva Hall, Delphine Ganious, Charlotte Prear and the Hayes family who will forever cherish her memory.
