Rubylene Ardella Hilborn

Rubylene (Ruby) Ardella Hilborn, 73, left this earthly home on December 11, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 30, 1949 to Alvin Emmett and Mary Louise Henderson. Ruby was raised in Dallas where she attended North Dallas High School in 1966. She met the love of her life Thorne Lee Hilborn and they were married in 1966 and had 3 beautiful children. Ruby was a dental lab tech at A U guys for more than 15 years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, reading her Bible, tending to God’s animals and time spent with her beloved husband. She was everyone in the neighborhoods “mom”. Family and friends will always remember her as having a big heart, giving, kind, funny, leader, and encouraging person.

Left to cherish Ruby’s memory her loving husband of 56 years, Thorne Lee Hilborn; son, Thorne Wayne Hilborn and wife Amy; daughter, Marcelle Campbell and husband TJ; grandchildren, Brandon Campbell, Robert Allen Hilborn, Jonathan Michael Hilborn, Jennifer Korges, Chelsie Avery, Jodie Campbell, Joshua Hilborn, Vincent Garcia and Mariza Garcia; great-grandchildren, David Korges, Kaleb Korges, Daisy Flanagan, Abel Flanagan, Saelor Grace Hilborn, Carson Poe, Isaac Wayne Hilborn, Zachary Lee Hilborn, Royce Alessandro Avena and Jonah Hilborn; sister, Retha Goforth; brother, Emmett Henderson; and many friends.
