Mrs. Ruby Jo Brown

Ruby Jo Brown, 88 years old of Carrollton, TX passed away peacefully on 10/13/2023. She was predeceased by her parents Edna Earle Moore and Cecil Edward Adam's. Ruby was born in Rockwall, Texas in 1934. Ruby and Charles (1933-2022) married on November 28,1952. Ruby and Charles moved to DeSoto, TX in 1962. They had two sons, Randall Wayne Brown(1960-2017) and Rickey Dale Brown was born in 1963. She retired from the Government Department of Defense in 1987 after 32 years of employment. Ruby and Charles are long time members of Windsor Park Baptist Church.

Ruby has 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Michelle Brown, Brandon Charles Cambon and Sarah Elizabeth Brown. She also has two great granddaughters: Allie Elizabeth Brown and Karsyn Layne Housewright. Ruby was loved so much by her extended family.

Ruby was truly one of a kind. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and loving her family was everything to her. She loved volunteering at the Church and cherished praising the Lord. Ruby loved to read her Bible, spend time with family and love on her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person, always thinking of others first and to know her was to love her.

A special thank you to her caregiver Renee Mims for always taking such great care of Ruby. Ruby enjoyed their adventures together and all the memories they made. The family appreciates all the love and support from the staff at Atria Senior Living.

She was loved and adored by all and will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
