His entire working career was dedicated to Sears Roebuck & Company as an executive until his retirement.
One of his greatest joys was being a volunteer Elf for Hobby Crafters Foundation. There he made and worked on wooden toys for children who have been abused or neglected. He started this in 1978 and did 40 years of service for them with a smile and love in his heart.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Martha J. Fox. He leaves behind his loving children, daughter Nanci J. Leslie (Phillip), daughter Patricia A. Naylor (Howard) and son Robert D. Fox (Cathy). He leaves behind to cherish his memory his two grandsons and two great grandchildren, Ryan Jacks, Howard N. Naylor, Andrew Jacks and Emerson Jacks.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Anne (Nagle) Fox. His brother, John Allen Fox and his daughter, Kimberly A. Fox.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, Texas at 3:00 PM. Roger A. Fox's Celebration of Life will immediately follow the mass at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home on 8011 Frankford Road in Dallas, Texas beginning at 4:30 PM.
