Roberto Garza

Visitation will be 4 pm – 8 pm, Celebration of Life at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, located at 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Roberto was born in Monterrey, N.L., MX to Pedro Garza and Francisca Lopez on May 10th, 1936. He married Estela Garza on December 30, 1963, in Monterrey, N.L., MX. In 1979, he immigrated to the US to work as a machinist.

Roberto is preceded in death by his wife, Estela Garza; his 2 brothers, Victor Garza and Pedro Garza; 1 sister Yolanda Garza.

Roberto is survived by 3 sisters: Irma, Myrna, & Blanca Garza; 4 daughters and their spouses: Adriana Sanchez (Paty), Rosalinda (Rosy) and Fernando Moreno, Julia (Julie) and Lorenzo Alonzo, and Estela (Conchis) and Demetrius Medford; 3 sons and their spouses: Roberto (Betin) Garza, Jose (Chino) Garza, Luis and Cynthia Garza; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ignacio Ramírez, Nelson Ramírez, Oscar Moreno, Robert Garza, Angel Garza, Alfredo Alonzo, Joey Garza & Gerardo Rodríguez.

The family of Roberto wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Glafira (Reina) Burgos, Gardenia Burgos, Fina Bowie (Nurse Practitioner), Jose (Pepe) Jesus Carreon, Placido Emilio del Monte, and all his friends at Casa Treviño for their support.
