I didn't realize Bob had gone to be with our Lord until now. I can write a book, but for now will just say, Bob George has meant more to me than anyone. His gift of teaching the true meaning of God's Word in such a simple fashion has changed my life. Thank you Bob for everything you have done and your faithfulness through Christ Jesus. I will see you soon!

Being a baby Christian in 1990 I was very legalistic, I’m a truck driver and driving down the road I felt miserable,I remember saying God I’m doing everything the right way, why am I so unhappy?? Devine intervention on the radio, Bob George, as though he was talking to me personally, I wept so hard and realized the junk inside me. I have to say that Bob George has taught me the most truth of anyone on the planet, see you in Heaven Bob

I did not realize that Bobbe had passed until just today but I have to say that when I first turned on the radio in the either well I don’t know when Bob was newly on the radio and classic Christianity was just becoming. I said a prayer and everybody on the radio was still preaching. Fire and brimstone, and Bob was cutting edge. In fact, I claim that Bob caused the Catholic Church to have to re- Look at what they were saying in preaching along with all the other churches. In fact, I had a Bible study in my home for 15 years for men and Whitman in recovery and we were basing it on Bob’s work because my cochair so Speak had just been to discipleship training, and when I heard Bobbe, I knew that that was the truth I had been looking for. Bob was Bobbe and Amy rather change lives of at least 250 men women in recovery. Our Austin group was grateful to be able to come to Dallas and was grateful to have Bob and Aimee come to us. I still use his literature, and I hope that y’all have his tapes from way back in the early days when he was still preaching or right before he had to quit when he would come to Austin some when there was, there was a threesome of young man, who taught with him a very tall, thin guy I think the other gentleman‘s name might’ve been Chris I wish I could remember, but it was such a powerhouse of a group of people, but Bobbe really changed our lives. Amy’s story changed our lives. and I’m actually here because I was going to buy a bunch of books to hand out to people again even though it’s been since the late 90s I’m going to restart because of the work that Bob Jordan and Amy did with us and what he did in publishing his books . By the way, being with Bob on the radio is one of my most favorite memories as well because I was so nervous all I could say was right before I went on the air does my hair look OK! And we all laughed because I was doing it to be silly but nobody’s gonna see me anyway it’s Radio! Lol and had Bobbe not had a sense of humor..❤️

I went through a very difficult time during the mid-to-late 1990s. I started listening to Bob on the radio and read Classic Christianity, Classic Christianity Illustrated and Growing in Grace. These books and the radio program changed my understanding of God's grace and how to apply it to my life and relationships. I am thankful to God for Bob's ministry and for the family who continues to carry on this ministry and legacy. My condolences to family and all who were touched by this ministry. God bless.

I first heard of Bob George when a friend at work asked me if I had ever read a book titled Classic Christianity. He told me it was a good book and I should read it sometime. When I thought about the title, I wondered if the book was describing how the first Christians worshiped. I decided to buy the book and began reading it on the way home from work while riding a commuter train. I barely made it into the first chapter before I started crying on the train. It was like Bob was describing my life. I had to put the book away on the train because I could not stop crying and it was hard to read through tears. But like everyone leaving a memory here, Bob's teaching changed my life forever. A friend at my church always introduced me to others as Mr. Grace because "that's all he ever talks about." I'm sure Jesus is showing Bob the lives he impacted. I'm also sure Bob would reply, "Apart from You, I could do nothing. It was You working in me." I love you, Bob.

To Bob's family and everyone reading these memorials,
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine on you, 
   And be gracious to you;

I appreciate his ministry I met him in 2005 at a church meeting in San Leandro California and in 2008 I flew to Texas to see him and Bob Christopher on a weekend  they have blessed my life hearing the truth of the gospel

I spent many years listening to Bob's teachings back in the 1990s on the radio . His understanding of the real message of what Jesus was teaching was so amazing that I still remember Bob's exact words from time to time even now , 30 years later. You pulled me away from the legalistic teaching that I was trapped in and I will take my memories of you to my last day when I will join you again in eternity.

My condolences to all of his loved ones.  I’m sure he is missed greatly.  As a new Christian I listed to Bobs radio show while delivering Pepsi many decades ago, I learned so much from him about Gods grace,  I’m sure he helped so many understand Gods love, grace,  and how God wants us to be confident of our eternal salvation!   The lord blessed him greatly with an amazing talent of simplifying the gospel message.   I’m sorry I’m late with this note but I hope everyone is doing well.  God bless you and his continuing ministry which I’m sure is still changing many lives with the good news of the gospel.

I have only just found the book Classic Christianity. I almost didn’t pick it up from the give away table at my church. But someone recommended it and now i see why. And i had to see if the author was still alive. Well not on earth here anymore but in heaven He is doing well. Grateful for the insights of this book that i only just fully grasped!

I just wanted to share my thoughts and prayers for the family of Bob George!  God used Bob George's book, Classic Christianity,  to change my life when I was a young mother struggling to be a 'good enough' Christian and feeling like a failure.  Learning about God's grace and unconditional love for me has been the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me and I prayed the prayer at the back of the book when I finished reading.  Just to know that God is love and we are under grace not law has meant so much!  I shared this book with my mom and grandma and they too loved it.  I shared it with my pastor and he loved it and began passing it out to people at church.  I also taught it in a Bible study at church and started a blog online to share what I'd learned.  A pastor in New Zealand made a Bible study for his congregation out of some of the blog posts.  So the message of grace that Bob George shared went all the way around the world!  Please know that I am so grateful for this man and his message and will continue to spread God's love!  God bless you!


I phoned into People to People once with a question and a comment on "Victory Over Depression" written by Bob.  I was blown away to hear a segment of the interview being used to advertise "Victory Over Depression" on an ad shortly after that.  Bob's humility is what always struck me the most.  It was obvious he had a huge heart for God and I always reference Him when sharing grace with others.

After becoming a Believer in Jesus there was so many denominations tugging and pulling at me even Jehovah Witnesses and Mormons. Having being led to the LORD through a Assembly of God crusade I attended their local church for a time and then a United Pentecostal church. Driving truck was my career at the time and I turned to People to People broadcast and listened intently to my dear friend and brother Bob George. I found Grace and Truth in every message I bought books at the time tapes and then CDs I couldn't get enough. I learned to Grow in Grace and I have learned to share that same message with others. Jesus used Bob George to lead me out of works and legalism for which I am eternally grateful. I never got a chance to thank Bob in this world but will soon some fine day. 


I have no idea how I came upon Classic Christianity as I have dyslexia and struggle to read books but the very few books I did read were from Bob and they have been a ministerial point of my walk as it changes lives from keeping the gospel clear, I have bought Classic Christianity buy the case and have shared it with select few as it is for those who are really searching as the truth even amongst the church is sometimes hard to find and it has been loved by those I have shared it with, I loved them so much and people to people that I came to Carrollton 2 xs to meet Bob  and took my mother once as well, Bob's books will always be a cherished point in my christian walk as keeping it simple is always the best way to share the gospel and I am thankful to the Lord for giving Bob that wisdom   Peter Stokes Jr

I was a seminary student in New Orleans, LA, from 1986-1988. I was on the air at the station that aired Bob's program. I listened to him, prayed and sought the scriptures until the Lord got through my skull this message: You are forgiven, eternally. The Father used Bob to change me and my preaching. What a blessing Bob was to myself and my family.

My youngest daughter used to dance and sing when we listened as a family to the introduction song of People to People on the radio years ago in the early 2000's!  Then we would listen to all of the real life incoming phone calls to the radio show and how Bob would emphasize the finality of the cross and the grace of our resurrected Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

 Some callers would go off on a tangent and Bob would firmly bring them back from their "nonsensical" thinking to eternal life found only through faith in Jesus Christ.  My wife and I still listen to some of the old radio broadcasts, still with profound impact.

Bob's ministry was used by the Lord to encourage me to  overcome  fear and to share the Gospel at funerals and nursing homes.  We still thank the Lord for using Bob George to preach the Gospel!

Around 1994, after spending years trying to earn Gods acceptance and never feeling I quite measured up, I broke down and cried out to God to show me what I was missing and that if He didn’t open my eyes, then I would never know peace in my walk with Christ. By “coincidence”, I heard Bob George on the radio THAT VERY DAY for the first time. And I knew by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, that the message this man was giving on radio, was the message I needed to hear. God used Bob to change my life. About 7 years later, I met Bob in Dallas after Sunday services. I thanked Bob from the bottom of my heart and started to tell him how he had been used by God to help me, but Bob didn’t seem interested in his part of it. He wanted to know more about my wife and I personally rather than talk about himself. Enjoy heaven dear brother.  I will catch up with you when I arrive. Thanks for being a vessel that God used to free me.

I met Bob and Amy in  1970-73 when my wife and I were on the Lay Ministry staff of Campus Crusade for Christ. I look forward to  spending time reading and listening to what the Lord did and continues to do through my brother in the 40 plus years since those early years in the  70's. Praise be to God for His faithfulness to Bob.

I stumbled across People to People Ministries on the radio around the early 90’s. Being raised Catholic, I appreciated Bob’s gentle teaching style yet firm in his knowledge of the gospel message. Now I don’t pass up an opportunity to tell others, even my non denominational pastor, that a butterfly will never be a caterpillar again but can still do wormy things.

I started listening to Bob George on the radio in Louisville, KY. Soon after I read his book Classic Christianity and did the companion bible study. These teaching changed my life. 
I had the pleasure of meeting Bob in person in Champagne, IL at a conference where he taught and he was as engaging and humble, feisty and fiery as I imagined. 
I've lost count of the number of copies of Classic Christianity I've given away or the number of times I've done the companion bible study in a group setting or with just one other. 
This dear brother certainly met his beloved savior who welcomed him in to a big ole bear hug and declared, "Well done! My good and faithful servant!" 

I spent many hours listening over the internet to Bob while working in Taiwan. I believe the Lord led me to the People to People website as I was going through tremendous confusion as a newborn Christian.

I remember making a special trip from South Africa to the 2004 conference like it was yesterday. So lovely to meet Bob and Amy and the rest of the crew.

I am deeply grateful for the message of Grace and Truth spoken with clarity, humour and humility by Bob. And as Amy says: Goodbye is not forever - see you again, Bob.

I was in a SBC seminary in 1984 when my wife and I began to listen to Bob. For years I struggled with the inconsistent teaching on forgiveness. What he said made sense and gave me a simple common sense  understanding of forgiveness. I have served in churches for 40 years and my wife is a counselor and SBC seminary professor. Bob’s love for God and His word and for love and grace changed our  life.  I teach, preach, and live my life by God’s grace and I cringe at the thought of asking God for forgiveness because I have it!  Past, present, and for all eternity. 




There is no where else to go to hear pure truth and grace. Supporting anything less is very detrimental to our walk with Christ. I am blessed by God to have sat under Bob George's teaching for the last 30 years. It's right where I needed to be having spent the first 30 years under heavy legalism and lost. I have not encountered any other teaching so free of legalism and don't think I will until I meet Christ for the first time in Heaven. There is unbelievable push-back from all man-made religion against the grace message. Bob gave his all to get the grace message out. You're not going to hear Bob's teachings in virtually any man-made religion. That is sad!!! Thank you Bob!!

I remember the retreat in Colorado at glenaire,  just great. Bob  is having some fun right now, walking  with Jesus !!!!

When shouting wouldn't have been enough I started living  again. Dear Bob,  your message of God's grace saved my life after 25 years of living in spiritual darkness. I was saved at the age of 23 but was never told the whole story. Excommunicated and shunned at 25, I was told I had lost my salvation and was going to hell. I lived like the devil for the next 25 years...and then one afternoon years ago I heard your radio program. The blinders came off my eyes and I saw the truth for the first time.  I am almost 80 years old now and God's love and grace have carried me through though the consequences of those 25 years. See you in His heaven...

Legalism was the only aspect of “Christianity” I knew until finding Bob’s People to People broadcast many years ago.  I was led to that broadcast by the Holy Spirit who continues to lead and teach me, lifting me more from the tomb (Law) to the refreshing wind of Life (Grace).  This resonated so completely so as to open His life and mine to the relationship we now have (salvation.)  I’m grateful to God for saving Bob and Christ working through him.  I’ve realized how this is so troubling to the religionists, no different from the clashes Christ had with the religionist of His time.  That clash becomes more apparent every year I’ve “grown in the knowledge and grace of Christ.”  I’ve learned that grace is not a something but a someone and the world is very hostile toward Him, so much so as to murder Him.  I can’t thank God enough for Bob George and I miss him.

I have just spent the past 3 hours reading Bobs book “Jesus Changes Everything” here in Johannesburg, South Africa. I hope his family reads my message- Bob has literally pointed me to spiritual freedom and renewal that I so desperately needed.  I know that he is with the Lord, “good and faithful servant”

Sad to hear just now of Bob's passing last year, but joyful knowing he is with Jesus!  I look back at the DCS Conferences of 1994 and 2009 on Mt. Hermon with great fondness.  Especially 1994 as I was battling great depression and hopelessness.  Everyone there was such an encouragement - I began to see that all hope wasn't lost - and it was the beginning of understanding God's unconditional love for me.  

It was a pleasure meeting Bob and Amy on both occasions and my heart goes out to the family!

I came to the Lord in the late 1970's . Thanks to Bob through my darkest times in my life  ,I came across his program on Warv in R.I. People To People .I loved the message he gave on the finality of the Cross and power of the Resurrection through Jesus Christ .I was saved. I faithfully listened to his program and how he help many like myself.   Since not hearing the program in years , I always wondered what happened to Bob and People to People Ministry. Today I decided to check on internet and here I am . Sadden to hear Bob passed last year . But I know that he is absent in the body and present with the Lord. Thank you Bob and Amy and People to People for all you have done for me in my early days as  a believer . God bless 

 Bob touched my life in New Jersey back in the 1980s… Via radio… And the discipleship counseling seminar you had here… I was fortunate enough to talk to he and Amy before he passed… To thank him for all he’s done for me… My 29-year-old son who is a Christian past year and a half ago… And Bob’s teaching really opened up my heart to get through it… The biggest Takeaway is life life life… And not the preoccupation with sin that today’s preaching tends to have…  that Sam is on believe… And the preoccupation with the worlds version of Sam keeps us in bondage… I can’t think Bob and Amy enough… Debbie please please please try to get up to New Jersey/New York with your mom… My wife Diane and I are going to try to come down to see you all in Texas next year… I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done… Bob Ferla 

I was sitting in a bible study today and sharing my freedom in Christ as taught to me through Bob's teaching when the Holy Spirit said to my inner self that Yes, listen to this! What rang true then, rings true now.  I've never been the same since. So, in today's sharing of the finality of the Cross, and finding agreement in some of the faces saying "Yes, I want to listen to this," while others still grappled with their law of good works---I thought of Bob. Looked him up tonight and found his obituary from last June. Oh, how he will be missed here, But oh how happy he is there with Jesus His Savior and all the saints He set free indeed through Bob's fearless ministry in teaching us of Christ's unconditional love through reconciliation. 

I attended the Discipleship training, the last one at Sonridge, in October 1991. I'll never forget that communion, which was the most tender-hearted and united experience I'd ever had and the only one like it ever since. All paled after that; however, that experience there--that unity in the faith--sustains me to this very day.

Thank you, Bob and Amy, for whatever it took to get Christ into you like He did and sharing  Him with us. I can still hear Bob's voice over the radio waves, "Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and give me Life." I said these words today: Jesus died for me, to give His Life to me, to live His Life through me ...to honor the Truth behind Bob's simple explanations of the profound!

Good bye is Not Forever thanks to Bob and Any George. I had the distinct privilege of sharing a week in Sandy Cove Maryland in 1994 with all the Bobs, Ed Hecht and so many friends I have kept in touch with to this Day. The World is a better place because of All Bob and Amy gave to make it so. Our condolences to the Family. Thank you Lord for Bob George and Macolm Smith's interview at the NRB in 1989 my life has never been the same since.

May you all be set free by the infinite ways Bob George had for helping so many eyes and ears to open to the heart felt way he gave all the richs that are found in Christ Jesus. Thank You Amy for standing your Man. He changed our World with the Love of God.
 

    I just heard about Bob's passing the other day.  I remember soaking up his teachings on the radio from the People to people broadcast.  It was Bob who solidified the  doctrine of grace to me, and 2nd Cor. 5:21 became my favorite verse of scripture.  I still have many of his broadcast on cassette tapes..lol.   I went to Dallas to take part in the Discipleship training ..I think it was in 1989.  I was impressed by his kindness and love for the scriptures.  I will be eternally grateful for all that he taught me  and I am sure he would be proud of me as I am passing on the message of grace to all who have  ears to hear.  May God bless you as you  are missing and grieving the loss of this wonderful saint in Christ.

I started listening to Bob on the radio, driving to work and back. Things that he was teaching caught my attention. My wife and I also enjoyed listening to people calling in with questions, comments. We did get to see him in person. We got all of his study material that day. We shook hands, laughed and talked at the table while looking at the available teaching during a break. It was great! His family has our deepest sympathy. He will be greatly missed. We learned a lot from him. 

I first heard Bob on radio in 1985, driving to work in Atlanta.  Immediately, I knew the Lord connected me with an unparalleled "gift to the Body of Christ."   The tenets of Bob's teaching will live on.  Our prayer is that His teaching will continue reaching more and more pulpits and crusades throughout the world.  Bob is probably the most oft-quoted teacher on earth by Christian pastors - a testimony that Bob truly was chosen in 1969 to carry the truth of God's grace to those with ears to hear. Bob often said the first person he'd like to meet in heaven after the Lord is Paul.  For me - you guessed it.  After Christ, I'll be looking for Bob!

I have just learned of Bob's passing. Oh how I fed on his broadcasts and books while in Seminary in the 80s. I've shared Classic Christianity with so many people. God bless your family as you are temporarily separated. 

 All my life I knew the importance of Calvary; and Christ removing my sins through His precious shed blood. I knew that the resurrection  was crucial in scripture fulfillment, but I didn't understand how vital it meant to me. I lived a half-gospel. Until I listened to Mr. George on his People to People broadcast circa 1999. Now I understand that not only did Jesus died for me; He lives in me! I knew that I was saved but I didn't understand the full gospel of grace and power delivered to me until I listened to Mr. George expound it from the Scripture. Condolences to all Bob's family. We will all meet again very soon!

I am sadden yet rejoicing simply because I believe the heart of Bob George was pure and that Jesus has accepted him into heaven.  I can and have continue to live by the lessons learned through Bob George Ministries.  The impact has been priceless.  I will ALWAYS remember him and I'm happy that he is with the Lord.  Words just escape me right now because although I never formally met Bob George, I feel like he is my father, teacher, motivator, inspiration, guidance, and through his teaching, I am a different person today.  I will FOREVER honor and admire him.

We thank God for using Bob to teach us about the grace and new covenant 
of Jesus back in 1991.   It was on the radio when I accidentally turned the
radio to am station.  I was so down about all the law I had been under and
couldn't be free .  I wanted to understand this grace that Bob was teaching .
I prayed Lord this sounds so radical, and if this is not of you  I want nothing   to do with it.   I continued to listen, called the station , spoke to Ed Hecht 
and started learning about law and grace.   That is when my grace journey
began,   I loved listening to Bob teach , he made it so easy to understand . 
He had such a love of Jesus in his heart for wanting others to be set free too.   We are forever greatful to Bob and the ministry that sets people free.
We still support the ministry and enjoy hearing him on our Denver,Co radio station, because we want others to learn about Jesus and the freedom that the grace brings .  We love you all and pray for continuous comfort and support to spread this great news of Jesus Christ,
We will miss Bob, but we look forward to seeing him in our heavenly home .

I'm so sorry for your loss. My  brother held bible study in our home using the teaching materials from People  to People. We started in 2009 when our son was born. What a weight that was lifted as I started to understand Grace. Fast forward 19 years of Bible studies we lost our precious son. I'm so grateful to Bob George for giving us such understanding.  A child loss is devastating . I know it was not coincidence that we started our studies a few months after his nirth. I truly believe God was preparing us so we could lean on him. Bob was a daily voice in our home. We were so blessed to be a part of his teachings. Continued prayer for your family. Thank you Bob!

I am so sorry for your loss.   What can I say except that Bob’s teachings changed my life.   It was like being born again, again.   I found him one day on my car radio in the early 90’s, while trying to tune into another program.   When I heard what he was telling a caller about grace and the life of Christ in you, I couldn’t believe my ears.   My first remembrance was that I knew what he was saying was truth.   At the same time,  I felt absolutely  desperate to know more.   I began  recording his program on a portable cassette recorder while I was out, and listening each night for many months.

I attended a one day Saturday conference he held at Wheaton College, and was amazed that he taught this radical message purely from Scripture on an overhead projector.   

I eventually read Classic Christianity, began teaching from it in a small group bible study,  and attended three of his conferences in different cities.   Since then, I have shared this message at every opportunity.     

I am eternally grateful to Jesus Christ for what He did for me at the Cross, and for Bob George, for spreading the radical, true message of the Gospel. 

I will forever miss Bob George. He is the man who introduced me to the endless love and grace of God. After many years as a legalistic Christian I stumbled across Bob on the radio. Bob's  teaching on the love of God has changed many lives, especially mine. Since those days I have continued to study and today I lead classes and on occasion get to talk to groups about God's love. Thank you again BOB GEORGE for showing me the real Jesus Christ.

 I am thanking Jesus for sweetly tending to each of you and filling your hearts and thoughts with peace at this amazingly bittersweet time. I am so deeply saddened with Bob's passing and I send a warm hug to each of you.

Bob George. That Bob George!!! What a guy! Oh, how grateful I am that God put Bob and People To People in my life in 2002. I had no idea what I was missing until I began to learn truth and was set free! Oh, how I long for those Classic Christianity Conference days. They were some of the very best days of my life! Priceless!!! 

Because Jesus turned on my truck radio to let me find PTP live radio show, I have been wonderfully blessed with some precious friends/brothers and sisters in Christ from the conferences and Metro.

So here's to Bob who could really express truth about our Lord Jesus!!! He was, no doubt, one of a kind and will be sorely missed until we join him in heaven.  Oh, and thanks to Bob, I know I am a new creation and I am flying like a butterfly!


Condolences to the extended George family for your earthly loss. Praises  to our Lord for His perfect timing however; I can imagine Bob's frustration in his last years at not being able to communicate as he so profoundly did over his earthly ministry. 
We founded a ministry, Joy of the Lord in the San Jose, CA region in 1991. It is a Christ-centered recovery entity and was birthed in a home out of a desire to blend the truth of the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the unbelievable outreach He started in the rooms of 12 step recovery. A brother in Christ introduced me to Classic Christianity and the People to People  ministry/radio program. It has since radically change my life and many others over more than 27 years of weekly gatherings. 
We developed the mantra of 'Crucifying the Confusion',  as a way of introducing some very wounded people who crawl into the rooms of the more than 200 12 step recovery programs in existence today. For God so loved the world...
The introduction to the truth of being a New Covenant family as the result of the completed work of Christ, and being filled with resurrection life has literally touched thousands. Praise God!

Dearest Amy and family, it's never easy to say good by, and the passing of loved ones seems so final,
but we know it's only the temporal waiting for the eternal.  I was introduce to Bob's early radio ministry
by James Mitchell and Chuck Wray my co-workers at Campbell Taggart, they would pray for me daring
their work break while I enjoyed coffee and friends at break.
Bob was so passionate about the truth of scripture in context, I had never heard teaching like that.  My
wife Lisa and I where still attending a denominational church on Sunday and on Thuesday evening a bible
study with Bob and his great staff.  After the study I ask Bob what am I not understanding about God's law
and God's grace.  Bob looked me in eye and said Larry what are you trusting in for salvation your ability to
keep the law or what Jesus did on the cross when He said IT IS FINISHED!  From that moment on the pride
of Larry got set aside to come to Life in Christ.  I have been so blessed to meet many like-minded believers
thru the People to People Ministries, which was bless by God's spirit thru Bob.  Bob truly had a gift of
teaching with a passion to share the love of Christ with all.  I truly loved Bob and all the staff what a beautiful
time was had by all.

Hello Karen this is Bob!!!! Those were the first words I spoke into the phone oh so many years ago! I was really nervous! I have been in church since I was 5 years old and baptized at 9 then really gave Jesus my life at age 21. Then one day I heard People to People on the radio and to make a long story short I ended up at a Bible study at Skip and Lillian,s house and really learned about Grace and the fact IT IS FINISHED!!!! Thank you for letting me know Jesus lives in me and helping me to forgive the people I needed to.Amy thank you for taking care of Bob in his need!! Im sad but joyful that Bob is with Jesus and we will see him someday because Amy says Goodbye is not Forever!!!!in His love Jess and Karen Ingle

On Sept 12, 1990 , Bob George married me & my husband Bob.  I had attended one of the Descipleship Counseling Conferences where Bob George trained me, mentored me & taught me more about scripture than I had ever learned from anyone. I was fortunate enough to be able to counsel with people who came to the People to People office, which, at the time, was located behind the Cooper Aerobic Center on Preston Rd. I also took calls that Bob would  let me handle off air on his radio  program. My life was changed after hearing Bob George on the radio. His message of Grace set me free from the cycle of 'sin and death' that Paul talked about. I have given the Depression series to literally dozens of people. To Amy, Debbie & Bob, jr : Thank you for sharing your husband and dad with us for so many years. We loved him more than I can say. He is now absent from the body & present with the Lord. Bob led me to the Lord,Jesus in 1989 over radio. For the first time,I had hope with regard to my destiny.My life was changed forever thru my encounter with the Living God. Our regards to Bob's family thru their loss of Bob,but we will see him again!!!

I will always be grateful to Bob who help me to see the truth that would set me free. I knew about some truth, as Bob had said when the Son sets you free you will be free indeed is what God had started in my heart from the beginning.

 As a friend in Christ had told me to listen to this program that this man knew how to explain the word of God better in terms that I could understand.

 I bought the book Classic Christianity change my life over night, I saw Jesus walking beside me with my old body and this young child beside me. Jesus was talking to the young child beside me, which was myself as He sees each of us his children. 

I knew that God had started something in me which Bob showed me at another time when I had seen him in Vancouver Canada.

 It was so powerful of hearing the gospel in clarity of the New Covenant and meeting Bob and Amy that day was just so wonderful to see the love of Christ in both of them was shown that God was please with what He had started in Bob to complete His perfect work is for all of us that are in Christ Jesus.

It was summer 1985 and through the static I heard a man speaking to me through my radio from 1440 AM out of Orlando.  Every day I had to listen. Could it be true? If grace was a wooden platform and there was a crack in the wood, I was certain I had fallen through it. Day after day I listened. The man told me to check out what he was saying with scripture, I listened more. Over time, I felt a healing balm flow over my soul. I finally got it. It went from my head to my heart. There was no condemnation for me. None. That summer changed my life forever. The man on the radio was Bob George. And I am forever grateful. 

There are literally no words or method of calculation that can actually measure the impact that Bob George had on millions of human beings. He rescued me from a prison of lifetime legalism, &  lead me to authentic, classic Christianity. It has resulted in my duplicating the same experience w/ others, and all of us owe him a debt of gratitude that can never be paid. I’ll miss Bob, and the radio will never be the same.

We were happy to have seen Bob one last time a few months back—and thank him for how his ministry has profoundly helped us along, in this walk of grace through faith.  He will always be remembered by us.

I first heard Bob on the radio, in 1996. At first I could not process the message he spoke of. After about a year, it took hold, and forever changed my life! I was blessed to visit Metro many times, and got my parents involved there! I was blessed to counsel with him, and also to hear his Last sermon, at Christmas - "Wise Men Still Seek Him".  He was going to do a mini conference here in El Paso, a few months later, and I was So excited! Furthermore,  because of Bob, and the way the Lord used him, some friends and I were able to start a New Covenant fellowship, in 2007, and preach Grace, and the New Covenant! I will Forever be grateful for Bob and Amy George, and the miraculous ways in which God used them in my life!!

Bob freed me from the chains of legalism, and taught me the joys of my Salvation.

I listen to this day, over and over and over and over to Bob's messages. I was raised in church and legalism and I was in disbelief when I heard Bob's teaching which was good news. I had to check the bible to see that it actually said what Bob said it did and to my absolute shock it said what Bob said it said. This was the first time I had ever heard good news re God. Prior to Bob it was 24/7 non stop condemnation, confess, confess, confess, 1 John 1:9 over and over and over again. I am getting reprogrammed to this day and am eternally grateful for Bob going against what it seems like all the churches I had ever been in taught, which emphatically was not what the word of God taught.....however, until I heard Bob's shocking message on the radio I didn't realize there was actually good news in there. That my sins had been paid in full, that my debt with God did not need to be cleared every 10 seconds because it had been totally cleared at the cross unbeknownst to me.

I have had the privilege of reading all the messages sent to Bobs' family and have agreed with all of them.

I too began to understand Gods grace through Bobs People to People ministry.  It has made such an impact on my life that I have never been the same again. Thank you Bob for being such a faithful servant to the Lord!!

I now continue to use his teaching in prison ministry and nothing gives me more joy than to share Gods unconditional love with them.
I also lead Bible studies sharing His truth with others.

26 Years ago I began listening to a radio program called, “People to People”.  I listened 4-5 times per week for 2 years.   While I found Bob’s counsel to the callers to be intriguing, the reality of God’s grace somehow escaped my personal circumstances.

Then, during a time of brokenness, I suddenly NEEDED what Bob was saying to be true.  Suddenly, my spiritual eyes were opened to the reality that God viewed me on the basis of my belief in Jesus AND NOT on the basis of my performance.  It was this TRUTH that opened the floodgate of God’s Love for me and triggered a deep, thankful love in me – for Jesus!

For the last 25+ years I have been driven to teach and bring this TRUTH (and FREEDOM) to my family, church and friends.  The Love of God compels me because the Love of God compelled Bob George.

Thank you, Bob George, for bringing to me (and my circle of family and friends) the GOOD NEWS of the NEW COVENANT.  I am only one, of perhaps millions, that you helped experience God’s Love – In Jesus!

WHAT A LEGACY!!!


 My husband, Mark, and I had the privilege of sitting at the feet of Bob George for many years.  He was one of our greatest teachers, and we soaked up the life changing message of God’s unconditional love and acceptance,  His grace and total forgiveness.  We have been able to share this message throughout our 36 years of marriage with our daughters, friends, small life groups and Sunday School classes.   There is no other message to share, and through Bob’s confident and practical teaching , not to mention his many books and Bible studies, we have seen lives changed and others realizing what true freedom in Christ is.   Bob was like a second father to us, and we have been  honored to know he and Amy and family.  Bob has, and always will, hold a VERY special place in our hearts.  Our love and prayers to you, Amy, Debbie, Bob, and families.

Thank you Bob George for the clarity of how the Christian life is to be lived.  Your teaching and books were so instrumental in my coming to the end of my rope of legalism.  Truly it is a Joy to have the assurance of faith that is in Christ Jesus.  

We celebrate with you that you are no longer "sagging and baggin" but as complete as you can get.

When Bob George started his ministry on the radio, I had just received Jesus as my Lord and Savior.  I thank God for Bob because I didn't have the chance to experience legalism.  As soon as I heard something contradicting Gods grace I knew better.

Bob George brought the TRUTH concerning JESUS to our family and friends 20 yrs ago on KBRT in CA. Our lives were changed and we found through Bob's teaching of God's Word the unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness of God. 
It was our pleasure and privilege to have joined Bob and his amazing wife Amy at three of the People to People conferences.  The fellowship was so special.

Condolences to Amy and all the beautiful family. Bob was such an awesome gifted teacher. More than just teach he had a way of tearing down misconceptions, replacing them with truth and building a rock strong foundation that fills your life with love joy and peace that can never be shattered. He has helped so many people in my small circle and I believe he changed the face of Christianity around the world from legalism to simple trust and rest in Jesus. My fondest memories of my life are of listening to Bob late at night as he dished out giant nuggets of truth.  He helped me immensely when I was feeling like a lost soul. I loved the way he could listen to people’s troubles and identify the error in their thinking and set them on a new path of faith hope and love, same as he did for me. 
I cried when I heard of his passing on to glory and I will never forget this most awesome  guy who has imparted such a beautiful gift to so many people. 
The ministry of Bob and Amy together was so beautiful, it could melt the hardest of hearts . I wish Amy and all the family to have great peace and comfort as only the Lord can give. I love you all very much and it is great you  keep Bob’s ministry going.

Dad and Mom, I am eternally indebted to you and the ministry that God gave you. Dad has been promoted to the arms of Christ. We will be with him as well.  Sincere thanks to you both for being "sheep dogs pointing to the Shepherd". 

I will forever be grateful for the ministry of Bob George. In October of 2000, I was confused and struggling with legalism. I had recently changed jobs and my supervisor at the time gave me a cassette tape of Bob’s message “ God’s solution to mans problem.” For the first time I fully understood that I was forgiven and that I had been trying to live a life that only Christ could live through me.  Romans 5:10 has been embedded in me ever since. Bob’s ministry touch so many lives and I am certain  when he stepped into eternity he heard, well done my faithful servant. 

I can't really say I was saved until I heard this messenger of God convey the medium by which we are saved....grace.  Held in the darkness of legalism, light began to permeate through Bob's radio program, listening intently as I fed the cows.  As a result, I see so much separate into the "camps" of law and grace, from raising children to relating with people.   His message crumbled the cold heartless towers of the law replacing them with a home filled with the colors of the rainbow.  I'm forever grateful to you Lord,  for the life of Bob and the life of Christ within him, which he taught to be enjoyed and drawn from within myself.  No man has had as much influence in my Christianity as Bob and he is missed with a  similar sorrow of losing a child.

What an honor to have served with you as your staff writer for five years. You taught me so much during that time, and I am forever grateful. You will be greatly missed, my brother, but I know you are in the arms of Jesus, the Lord and lover of your soul. Thank you, Bob, for your many years of faithful service that has affected untold lives. I will be praying for Amy, and your entire family, at this most difficult time. Rest now.

  I was working in Denton , Allen , and all of those cities north of Dallas back in 1989 and so on . I lived in Terrell , Tx. at the time and had a lot of travel time . One afternoon I was flipping through the radio stations and happened to land on Classic Christianity . I listened for a while , and said t' that is not what the Bible says '. The speaker ( Bob George ) said , " Don't take my word for it , read it yourself " . So when I got home , I did !
   ( I had been in church and a Christian for many years at this point ! )
  In fact , I reread it for the next week . The first couple of times I read it , i said  ' you could  'make ' the Bible  say that ! Then one time i read it ,,god opened my eyes and heart and told me  ' THAT ' is what the  Bible says. 
  Thanks to Bob George , my walk with the Lord has not been the same . He ( the Lord ) has given me a deeper and clearer understanding of His Word !
  I can't really express my gratitude for the in sight that Bob George has shown me ! I have meet him several times , and even attended Metro Bible Fellowship when they me on Spring Valley. I even went to Rosemeade several times .
  It is with a regretful heart that I learn of his passing , though , I feel confident of his destination . 
  " To be  absent from the body , is to be present with the  lord " .
On fine day we'll meet in Glory !

I know it is never easy to lose a loved one. I pray you are comforted by the same grace that Bob always proclaimed. Please know the impact that Bob had on me and many of my friends was profound. The transforming power of truth of the Chrit life in us and through us is unequaled. And Bob participated with His Abba Father proclaiming Christ in us. I can think of no greater achievement in life than to know your Savior and telling others they can know Him also. I have so many memories, but I can sum it up with this. Bob is my brother in Christ, and my brother always said Christ in me was my hope of glory. Praise God for this man and all of the family that worked with him and supported him, and prayed for him, and loved him. 
We all grieve the loss of our brother because we don't want him to go, yet we want him to go home. It is bittersweet, but Bob's gain is immeasurable seeing our Savior clearly and face to face.

Oh what a precious child of God Mr. George was! When I was saved 20 years ago, I wasn't sure how to live the Christian life. But God, in His wonderful mercy and grace, put Bob's book "Classic Christianity" in my hands.  Mr. George's own testimony,  gave me such insight into what the New Covenant means to believers, and how the "finished work of the cross" assures us of God's unconditional love and forgiveness of sins.  All sins! Yes,the love of God leads us to obedience! Bob never said we wouldn't suffer or be disciplined by the Father. He always pointed to the power of the Holy Spirit, to show us how to live a godly life.  "Go to the Word, don't believe me", he would say.  Thank you Pastor Bob, you will always be in my heart.  Blessings and love to the family!


I am deeply saddened by this news.  I remember first hearing Bob speak on the radio in the 80's and my mind could not comprehend the message I was hearing, but my spirit was awakened to the truth of the Gospel...this was my first step on my journey into receiving the complete forgiveness and true life of Christ within me.  I also attended a week-long, life-changing conference at Sandy Cove in Maryland.  I will be forever grateful( and I do mean forever!) I am praying for his family during this heartbreaking time.

Bob, your faithful explanation of the Gospel through Hebrews 10 set my husband and myself free. Your visit to Fresno, CA in 1991 made us feel "born again again". Your earthly life is over...but your heavenly life has just begun. Rest in peace good and faithful servant.

His writings helped guide me to begin my journey to Grace! As a pastor, I am so glad I found this truth. Thank you Bob George! 

I am so deeply saddened Amy, Debbie, Bob and families to learn of this terrible loss! I know that you are all aware that Bob is in the presence of our Lord and Saviour (2Cor5:8), and that we’ll see him again soon, but I am also deeply aware of your feelings of loss. My sincerest sympathies to you all! Bob was an amazing gift to this generation with his teachings of God’s Grace. I can truly say that Bob has been one of the most tremendous and influential people in my 53 years. Ever since I bought his book, Classic Christianity, four years ago…at a second-hand store owned and operated (ironically) by Seventh-day Adventists. Sadly, I never had the privilege of meeting this precious person. But Bob made the finality of the cross and the reality of the resurrection a reality in my life, and I continue to listen and learn (almost daily) the truths in God’s Word through his online Bible studies. Thank you to all involved in keeping Bob’s ministry on the air and online. He was our “Paul”, and has influenced and affected so very many people with his precise and accurate teaching! I am so thankful for him, for the life he lived, and for the passion and desire he had to spread the Truth to the world. I now look forward to meeting him in heaven.      

Thanks much Bob for the knowledge and understanding.  I am thankful for your Radio program in the nineties.  You are still having an effect on me - just the other day I listened to one of Bob's Friday teaching editions on the Reality of the Resurrection.

My wife and  I thank the Lord  often for Bob and the truth and meaning of God's Word  He shared with us
since 1995 or so.  The Lord showed me with a yes and amen that what i was learning is truth. This
truth was also conveyed to my pastor and he said our talks ,discussion, meetings was ordained by God.
Just a month ago we visited friends out of state and introduced them to the teaching on the website. They said

My deepest sympathy to Amy, Debby, Bob and family.  It was through my sister, Deborah, introducing me to Bob’s radio program that I first wrote to the ministry and what a difference it made in my life.  Not only did I hear Bob’s message of God’s love and grace, but through my first email to the ministry God sent Edward Hecht into my life to love me and eventually marry me.  In my heart I see Bob and Ed worshipping our LORD together just as they had for so many years. Two men who loved our LORD and each other and loved to tell others about His love and grace. I still pass out the Born Free tracts as Ed always did (if you look closely you can see them in his shirt pocket, in this last picture of us taken about 6 weeks before his homegoing).

Bob George will be missed here on this earth! God blessed him to share the truth of God's word, like none other. And I'm thankful that he was able to pass that on to folks like Bob Christopher and many others, to continue proclaiming The Truth. He was and will always be MY modern day Paul, and I know for so many other's as well. He radically changed my life, and the course of my family, when 30 yrs ago I heard him say on the radio, " In and through Christ, you have been reconciled to God and He is no longer counting your sins against you". I had never heard that before in my life and wanted to know more. I am free in Christ today, able to receive God's love and love others because of Bob. I've had an eternal  joy and hope for 30 yrs that cannot be moved because of the truth of God, that Bob so simply shared. He was about as subtle as a meat clever at times, as he exposed scripture taken out of context. He always said, "don't believe me, get in the word and read it for yourself!" I am eternally grateful that God brought Bob into my life to show me that the opposite of truth is error, and that through all his books and CD's, I can continue to grow in God's truth! I'm thankful that we will be reunited someday with Bob, because as his precious wife Amy reminds us "goodbye's are not forever".

I first heard the truth about Jesus Christ from Bob George. The truth about total forgiveness and Jesus Christ living His resurrected miraculous love life in and through me. Also His New Covenant and His Grace. Thank you Bob for showing me the truth that is in the better covenant of Jesus Christ. I rejoice that you are joyous now in seeing Christ and living with Him forever.

This man is almost singlehandedly  responsible for me coming to know Christ personally  if it wasn't for the holy spirit.  I know he was used by God to save me. 
I had never met another Christian  until after being born again.  His program people to people spoke into my life like a bull horn in the summer of 2006 and most of 2007. In Sep of 2007 he convinced me that i needed Jesus to live inside of me to be made whole again and to truly fix the God shaped hole in all our hearts.  You could say when I was done listening to this man preach grace,I was full . And he went on many many more times over the years filling me with the knowledge of God's grace. Thank you Lord  for having this man ready and willing to speak into my life when he did. It literally meant life and death to me. May God comfort his family during this process and remind them that he has received  an inheritance  fit for a million kings! 

Bob made the biggest difference in my faith in 1998, when I heard him on the radio driving around on my lunch break.
After that he taught me what real Grace is and how to rely on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. We are
so grateful to him and Amy for the love, guidance and continued teaching all these years.
Miss him, but know he is home where he belongs. 


To Amy, Debbie, Bobby, and your entire family, please know you have our heart felt sympathy for the loss of Bob. You are in our prayers, daily.  We know that Bob is home with the Lord.  So, Well done our brother Bob.

Back in 1998, while working as a field technician for a forklift company, I heard Bob George on the radio.  Being in and out of my van and not being able to get all the details of where the broadcast is coming from, I heard enough for Bob to lead someone to Christ on the first broadcast.
The following day,  another soul lead to Christ, along with some very good calls & answers.
The third day was teaching. What a jewel that was. I told my wife, Angie, "we have to find this man, he is saying what I have been reading, and that nobody is teaching"

We did find Bob & Amy, in a warehouse in Carrollton.  We were settled into a bunch of chairs, and about 15 minutes into his teaching, we turned and looked at each other and nodded in approval.  We were home!!

We were blessed each and every service, each book that we could get from Bob's writing. And each book sent us right to the bible scripture he taught from.
Classic Christianity by the "10 pack" became a staple for us. What a wonderful gift Bob had written for us, the we could give out to others.

I serve in a small east Texas bible church, and currently, our pastor is going through the book of Galatians, and the lessons that Bob recorded many years ago is helping him to expound and explain these wonderful scriptures of "freedom in Christ" Thank you Debbie, for the CDs.

We still listen to Bob on  KAAM radio, and to KLTT radio, on computer broadcast. Let's keep this message of complete forgiveness going out to the world.
