Rex Ernest Ladner, age 89, of Bluff Dale, Texas passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023. Rex was born on September 16, 1933, in Topeka Shawnee, Kansas. He was the son of Ernest Albert Ladner of Wheaton Kansas, and Cora Ann Stephenson of Halls, Missouri.
Rex is survived by his four children, Craig Ladner and wife Denise of North Carolina, Layne Ladner and wife Cindy of Texas, Tracy Sullivan and husband Sean of Montana, and Todd Ladner and wife Tina of Texas. He is also survived by many wonderful grandchildren and great-children.
Rex was honored to serve in the United States Army. He attended Kansas State University, and graduated with his Bachelors of Science. Rex had many interests throughout his life regarding his career. He was an accomplished School Teacher in the Minneapolis School District, worked in HR Management, and also worked at Lancaster Colony, a holding company. He found interest in staining glass windows as well, and was able to combine passion and profit by becoming a Stained-glass glazier. Rex loved all things outdoors. He especially loved being at the lake, soaking in all of the beautiful world around him.
Rex was baptized and confirmed on April 30th, 2005 at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas.
Private services will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
