her family by her side.
Peggy Ann (Wyatt) Cox was born September 2, 1940 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Reuel Sylvester Wyatt
and Willie Mae (Copeland) Wyatt. She was the youngest of four children. Peggy was raised in Dallas
where she received her education graduating from Crozier Tech High School in 1959.
On February 6, 1982 she was married to her love Roy Cox at Christian Life Cathedral in Dallas by Bert
Allbritten. The beginning of a wonderful marriage that would last nearly 38 years. The couple resided in
Coppell, TX most of their married life.
Together they helped raised three stepchildren, Cheryl (Cox) Luttrell of Bartonville, TX, Jamie Cox of Ferris,
TX, Pamela (Cox) Callahan of The Colony Texas. Along with her beloved husband and children she is
survived by Grandson Brad Luttrell, Granddaughter Becca Luttrell, and Granddaughter, Danielle Cox, and
many beloved Nieces and Nephews.
For 40 years Peggy worked for Bank of America Perot Systems. She was a kind compassionate woman of
God. A member of Maple Avenue Assembly of God and later Christian Life Cathedral both in Dallas.
Peggy enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and nieces and nephews.
Service for Peggy Ann Cox will be September 2, 2020 at Laurel Land Cemetery, 6000 South R L Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00, Service at 2:00, Graveside at 3:00. There will be a reception
immediately following.
