Born in El Mesquite, Guanajuato, to Pabla y Demecio Lopez, was charismatic, hard worker, provider, singer, garden/harvest king, happy soul, who loved la virgen de San Juan y Guadalupe. Pedro is survived by his loving wife Maria de la Luz, his 12 out 14 living children Jose de La luz, Consuelo, Agustina, Adolfo, Celia, Bernardo, Armando, Juana, Ana, Jose Guadalupe, Ismael, and Israel. Thirty six grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, two daughter in laws, four son in law, extended family, and countless friends.
Pedro migrated to several parts of the U.S.A. including Texas, Arizona, Chicago, Colorado and California. He raised his children in West Dallas before moving to Lancaster Tx. Pedro is well known in the community and will be remembered for his amazing stories, singing, contagious laughter and willingness to help those in need.
Pedro, worked all his life and through retirement continued to harvest delicious fruits and veggies. His pride and joy were his children, grand children and extended family. He enjoyed traveling home to Leon to visit extended family and friends, touring the U.S. national parks, and eating delicious food. His legacy will live on through the fruits and labor of his descendants and the many memories he left everyone he connected with.
