Patricia "Patsy" Allen Jack Porter was born on May 29, 1935 to Marian Price Jack and William Harry Jack, Jr. in Dallas. She is survived by her husband of 69 years James (Bud) Walter Porter, Jr. and children Mary Porter Bradley (spouse Sam), James (Jimmy) Robert Porter and grandchildren Katelyn and Emma, and William (Bill) Walter Porter (spouse Liesl) and grandchildren Lily and William. She is preceded in death by her sister Marian Jack Jenkins and her brother Robert (Bob) William Jack (spouse Betty).
Patsy graduated from Highland Park High School, attended Wellesley College and graduated from Southern Methodist University. In 1956 she married Bud Porter and they made their home in University Park where she raised her family and pursued various volunteer activities. She served as a Deacon, Elder and Trustee at Highland Park Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Dallas Woman’s Club and the Junior League of Dallas.
A memorial service at Highland Park Presbyterian Church will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm with private burial at Sparkman-Hillcrest.
