Patricia Jean O'Rear, 84, passed from this life on December 6, 2024 in Mesquite, Texas.She was born on December 25,1939 in Dallas, Texas to C.C. & Doris Freeman. She was raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Adamson High School.
In her earlier years she was a beautician and worked at Safeway. In 1982 she fulfilled a dream of hers and established Apple Tree Acres Children's Center. Afterwards she opened Sweet Angels gift shop and later returned to her passion in childcare building Circle Creek Children's Center. She retired after 40 years.
She was a caretaker to many, always putting them first. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our heart and she is deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents-C.C. & Doris Freeman, Brother-Cumby Freeman and Husbands- J.W.O'Rear & O.B.Smith,Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy and husband Daryl, Tammie and husband Jerry, Kim and husband Larry; eleven grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren, with two on the way, and four great-great grandchildren; along with a host of numerous nieces and nephews and life-long friends.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
Serving as pallbearers are Leon Baccus, Blake Baccus, Micah Baccus, Mason Mitchell, Jason Edwards, Justin Edwards, Colby Rhodes and Michael Gray.
