She was born on August 28, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Sotero Peña and Maria R. Peña. Norma was raised in Dallas, Texas. She married Salvador Sanchez Sr. on February 5, 1961 and the couple had five children. She was a homemaker.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a sweet person.
She is preceded in death by Salvador Sanchez Sr. (husband), Gloria Medina, Hijinio (Rocky) Peña, Evangelina Lara, Levi Peña, Ana Montelongo, Sotero Peña (father), Maria R. Peña (mother), and Sergio Sanchez (son).
She is survived by her sons Salvador Sanchez Jr., Samuel Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez, and Saul Sanchez.
A visitation for Norma will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be an interment from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
