Muenster, Texas, to the parentage of the late B.R. and Agustina Fletcher. Nelson departed this life on Friday, July 10, 2020 in Dallas, Texas.
He received his early education in Era, Texas and later attended St. Edwards Catholic School in Dallas Texas.
Nelson joined the United States Marine Corps., serving in the Vietnam War. After his time in the military, Nelson met and married,
Audrey Fletcher, to this 41-year union, three kings were born, affectionately known as Little Eddie, Phil and Polo.
If you knew anything about Nelson, you knew that he enjoyed everything about cars, his favorite was racecars. Other hobbies included cooking and watching Kung Fu movies.
N elson was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memories and legacy are his sons, Eddie, Phillip (Detra) and Roderick (Rochelle); seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Lita Sierra and Mary Cervantes, both of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Philip Fletcher of McAllen, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
