I met Michael back in 2015. Michael was an incredible person, who was always willing to help others. I thank god for putting in my life someone like Michael. I will never forget his advice, his sense of humor, his laughs, and all the talks we would have. It makes me sad that he is no longer with us and we wont have his lovely presense at work. I remecer how he would always tell me how i reminded him of his mom, and would always help me and give me advice at work because of it, i will always thank him for everything he did for me. He would always talk about how he loved his wife and family and how they were everything to him. My deepest condolences, may he rest in paradise. We will miss you Michael. 

Oh man mike where do I start,  you have blessed me with some of the most funniest & heartwarming memories I have.  

I will miss your big  personality and how great you were at everything you touched. You really just filled the house that is so empty now without you there.  How  I will miss those loud movies that you always watched at night with the surround sound you built cause you said there was no other way to watch the movies. 
 
Even the silly and just plain terrible movies we would watch with everyone at home. Don’t even get me started on the bad hair movie you said was gonna be scary… but was a super stupid movie, that we still sat and watched till the end. 

I’ll miss those family movie nights and how you were always excited about a new movie we could watch. 

But there is nothing I’ll miss more than you just still being there. Your spot will never be filled by anyone and we will always love you my brother mike. 

May you Rest In Peace and know I’ll always be there for Jackie and Talan in every way possible.

I met Mike (Homie) when we worked together for Nurtur/EPC.  He worked worked in the Facilities Department at the time.   Mike was a great guy with the biggest smile and such a great personality!  I never saw Mike have a bad day and if he was he sure covered it well that I couldn’t tell.  We had some great times especially when we were on the spirit committee together talking about how much food people were grabbing during the holiday luncheons we had.  We had some great talks about family, sports and about life when the Big People were gone for the day and he would come around that corner, sit and we would talk till it was time to go.  Jackie he loved you and Talan so much!  He will forever be missed by those who loved and knew him.  A beautiful soul gone too soon!  Rest In Peace my friend!  

I met Mike and Jackie several years ago during my tenure at Centene. Both are great people. I loved to talk sports with Mike and he was always an upbeat guy that never seemed to have a down day. I’m incredibly saddened by this loss and my heart and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.  Rest In Peace Mike. 

I will always remember and be thankful of how you easily welcomed me into your family.I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of meeting you and calling you family. Traveling to Dallas was one of the highlights of our time living in Odessa. We looked forward to being able to spend sundays with you guys. Grilling wings outside while watching football. Having Talan and Nataly look for eggs in the front yard on Easter. 💕 We will miss you so much !! 

Michael, what can I say? You were the big brother I never asked for, but you were also the big brother I never knew I would grow to love so much! I remember always making fun of your Harry Potter glasses, you nerdy computer talk and pretty much anything dorky you did. I will always remember "helping" you out with your outdoor projects along with Jackie and Jeni. I will always remember how you were one of the few people I let call me Ari. I remember how you would pat me on the back and forget your own strength. I can still hear your awkward chuckle laugh, and I will cherish it fondly, along  with my favorite memory of "building" the back deck with you, Jackie and Jeni. I didn't know you most of your life, but you made a great impact for the time I did know you. You took a piece of everyone who loves you with you, but you also left a lot of great memories and love behind. Thank you for allowing me to call you family. I miss you deeply. This is not goodbye, but until we meet again.

I met Mike back in 2015 at Envolve PeopleCare, couple of years later he became my supervisor...There was never a dull moment with Mikey Mike, as I would call him. He would light up an entire room and always expressed how much love he had for his family. I will cherish all the wonderful memories we shared, laughs and great conversations. It saddens me that he is no longer here, but I am grateful to have met an amazing soul. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends. Mikey, you will be forever missed.

To my wonderful cousin Mike, your vibrant energy will be forever missed. You were a special person that could always light up the room. You always had a smile on your face that was contagious. I will continue to cherish all the memories I have with you specially driving from Cali to Arkansas one summer and you and Christian trying to scare me the whole way there telling me the driveway lights were duendes. Or the time we visited Dallas when you were still in the service and I remember you let me borrow your uniform to see how it would look on me.  Or during our Christmas trip to Dallas where we got to spend time together. You and Jackie showed us a great time, we got to visit some of the coolest places all over town, saw cool art, ate some great pizza, visited our first  dine-in theater and we learned yours and Jackie’s love story. You were a great son, brother, partner to Jackie and the greatest father to Talan.
 I will definitely miss our group messages cheering on the Lakers and Dodgers.  Any Lakers, Dodger or Raiders game I will be thinking of you. We will miss you until we meet again. Rest In Peace. 

Pepe (as we fondly called him) dated my best friend our senior year of HS. We hung out all the time. He was so friendly and funny, we always had a great time!  He was my prom date bc Kayla was going with Bradley- they’d planned that for years. He wore a red suit and I wore a black dress- we looked like we were going to a bloody Valentine’s dance or something, it was great!  He and Kayla won prom king and queen, it was really cool, though we hung out in Texarkana eating dinner for so long everyone was gone when we got to the actual Prom lol.  He and I also watched The Exorcist the first time together and both were screaming like 5 year old girls 😂.  I will not forget those memories or his sweet, kind soul.  EVERY SINGLE PERSON loved Michael and it breaks my heart for him and his family and loved ones that his time was cut so short. Rest In Peace, friend. I am truly sorry. 

I'm so happy that I had the pleasure to meet Mike aka ”Mikey” as I would call him. He would always light up the room everywhere he went and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He was always able to help me with anything from healthy meal planning, exercise routines, home remodeling, work, or anything really. He did it all.  A family man, a tradesmen, everything from A to Z - that was Mike. He loved his wife and son so much he  would always bring them up every chance that he could. Which I found so sweet. Mike was just an all-around beautiful person. It saddens me that he is no longer with us, but I'm grateful to have met him/ work along side him throughout the years.  Mikey, you will be missed. With much love to you and the people that cared about you, be blessed. Forever and always.

My cousin Mike, You always were such an amazing person with so much talent. I remember going to Dallas and visiting you guys while the man cave in the backyard was still in the process of being completed. The way you built everything by yourself just amazed me! I never saw Jackie without Mike, and vice versa. When Talan came into their lives, what a fantastical addition and blessing to their lives. 
Anytime I talked to Mike, he was always happy, goofy and showed so much love and adoration for Jackie and Talan. 
I really got to know Mike when I went to him for my first and only tattoo 10 years ago. He made sure that the translation of my tattoo was accurate and perfect to my liking. He was so comical, and very caring. 
Mike, you are such a blessing and I'm so honored to have known you. We've lost a beautiful person. I know you've got a red carpet entrance into heaven and will continue to love and care for Jackie and Talan like you always do.

That was my guy in high school we used have so many laughs. We took a college class together our senior year. When he first came to the class of 01 he fit right in with us and we have lots of memories..  We had a lot fun times ,this one truly hit hard. Pepe you will truly be missed rest on brother….

My heart is breaking once again as I write this. My fondest memory of Mike was when it was day 2 of my sleeve and it was shading day. I started complaining during the treacherous 8hour session because doing a 3/4 sleeve in one weekend is insane. Anyways, as I continue to squirm and complain, Mike scolds me and tells me to suck it up because I’m not a little b*tch; and guess what? That tough love attitude and plain bluntness got me through the whole session laughing. The other favorite memory was when Jackie just found out she was pregnant with Talan and joked around on how Mike trapped her for 18 years (and let’s keep it PG so I won’t go into details on how he did it), so we all laughed and looked at Mike, who now had a straight face, and without hesitation, Mike validated that Jackie is a catch and he will do anything to keep her around aka trapped her for at least 18 yrs. LOL. Mike have great big bear hugs and always got everyone laughing (and drinking too). He was an amazing father to Talan and partner to my Jackie. I will truly miss the artist, my friend, and the goofball that is known as Mike. It is a privilege for me to act as a forever canvas with his work on my left arm. I know Mike will continue to watch over Jackie and Talan. Take a shot for me in heaven bro!

Red firebird! yup, that was you picking Jacky and I for your first date (of course i was your guys third wheel as always) I told Jacky that a guy like you can’t be real, your just perfect! Gentlemen, caring, funny, protective, tall, dark and very handsome. You always protected not only Jacky but also Jacky’s friends, even on our crazy party nights. On my wedding day you flew with the girls, and Talan to Canada to attend my wedding. I can still remember how you walked down the aisle carrying Talan on your chests with a baby carrier. Customized computer you sent Kyle from Dallas to Edmonton?! Spending time with Nick and making sure he would love Dallas, so we can move back for good. Your just one of a kind.  You left us so soon and leaving so many hearts broken.  Thank you Mike for everything! Your an awesome friend, loving partner to Jacky and wonderful father to Talan.  Until the very last day, you are one of a kind. I pray for your soul to be in heaven watching over us. I love you bro!

I think the best memories would be our cook outs and our conversation we would have after. Mike you always be in our heart. Thank you for holding it down. 

The most amazing memory I have of Mike was when it was day 2 of my sleeve and it was shading time. My second best memory of Mike was when Jackie was joking around telling the girls on how Mike poked holes in the condom that they are using to trap Jackie LOL! We all laughed, looked at Mike (who now had a straight face), and he proceeded to agree and validated that he did what he did and he doesn’t have any regrets. LOL! (Sorry Jackie and Talan!). I also remember Mike as an amazing father to Talan and partner to my Jackie. I will miss seeing his smile and laugh at his jokes when I come visit Texas. 

In high school we had many classes together Agriculture Class, Family and Consumer Science and many more. He always was the excitement of the class for sure, never a dull moment. From the moment he joined the Mineral Springs Class of 2001, Michael was family.

My classmate from Mineral Springs High School. We have so many memories from working on the yearbook staff to working at Poulan together. Never a dual moment so many laughs. You will be missed. Continue to pray for you all.

I met Mike when I was in middle school. I looked up to him like a big brother and he treated me like a little sister. During this time he taught me how to hot wire a car… you know.. just in case! He was always so nice and fun to be around. Thanks for the life skills, Mike! You will be missed.

Someone as special as Michael will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts forever. Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that that you are very close in every thought and prayer. 

I met Mike back in 2012 when working for Nurtur. He became my supervisor about 4 years later. Mike was such a joy too work with. My heart was deeply sadden hearing of his sudden passing. I will never forget him.  He loved his family he talked about them all of the time. My deepest condolences and  prayers  goes out too his entire family and friends. He will definitely be missed by so many.

I remember joking with Michael and Christian several times because we shared the same last name (Torres) and we would say we were probably related in another life. Now Michael is living his other life from the heavens above and watching you both every step of the way. Talan, your father was and is still so proud of you and don’t ever forget that.
