Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, godson and friend, Casey passed away Tuesday after an accident on his grandparents’ farm in Sycamore, Kansas. Casey was born on November 6, 1996 in Dallas, Texas and just recently graduated from Christ the King Catholic School. He was planning on attending Jesuit High School in the fall. Casey never met a stranger, greeted everyone with a sparkle in his eye and a broad inviting smile. He was the light of his families’ life, the youngest of three children; he was their sweetheart as well as the family prankster. He could fix anything electronic and was frequently called upon to help when computer or cell phone problems arose. He participated in school activities and was an avid fisherman, hunter, sportsman playing golf, football, and basketball. His friends knew him as a leader on the court as well as a team player. Everyone enjoyed his kindness, friendship and great sense of humor. His passion was spending the summer on his grandparents’ farm working side by side with them learning all he could with the ambition of running the farm himself one day. Casey will be forever loved and dearly missed by his parents, Debbie and Bruce Tull, sister Melanie Tull,
brother Michael Tull, his maternal grandparents, Bob and Delores Boorigie and great grandmother Lois Passauer, Uncle Robert Boorigie and his family, his paternal great grandmother Idella Strubhart, godparents Patty Pickard and Eddie Hicks, a multitude of friends and his beloved pet dogs Teddy and Roscoe. Visitation for Casey will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home on Saturday, July 30th from 4:00- 6:00 pm. A Rosary will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Sunday, July 31st at 6:00 pm with the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, August 1st at 10:00 am also at Christ the King. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Casey’s memory to the Catholic Foundation of Dallas where a memorial scholarship fund is being established in his name.
