Mary "Ama" Ramirez Trevino

Mary was born in Kyle, Texas on July 18, 1926, to Justo and Lucia Ramirez. Mary was married to Lupe “Apa” Trevino on February 8, 1948; they were married 62 years.

Mary worked as a gift wrapper for Neiman Marcus Department Store for over 30 years. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, completing crossword puzzles, and making homemade tortillas for family and friends. She was the proud grandmother of over 70 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Lupe Trevino, sons Frank and Rudy Trevino, siblings Nieves Ramirez, Pete Ramirez, Paul Ramirez, Ray Ramirez, Frank Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez, Tom Ramirez, and Rebecca Martinez, and parents Justo and Lucia Ramirez.

Mary is survived by her children Marina Trevino Ybarra, Daniel Trevino, Estella Trevino Mendoza, David Trevino, and Paul Trevino, step-children Martin Perez and Margie Trevino Eustachio, brother Manuel Ramirez, and other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on May 5, 2023 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am on May 6, 2023 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln. Dallas, Texas 75220. Committal will follow.
