Mary Torres Munoz

Mary was born to Juanita and Cecil Torres on May 6, 1932 in Waco, Texas.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Ophelia Marroquin, brothers, Tino, Cecil Jr. and Albert Torres.

She is survived by her husband, Ignacio Munoz; her children, Linda (husband, Miguel P. Ruiz) of Austin, Gloria Alonzo of Irving, Evita (husband, Franklin Gentry) of Greenfield, California, Ignacio Munoz Jr. (wife, Dee) of Jacksonville, Florida, Pedro Munoz of Coppell, Texas and Antonio Munoz of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters, Ernestina Torres of Santa Maria, California, Alice Lazcano of Lompoc, California; her brothers, Pedro Torres (wife, Maria) of Santa Maria, California and Mike Torres of Santa Maria, California and Johnny (wife, Alma) Torres of Dallas, Texas.

Mary is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 33+ grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

A visitation and vigil service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 4pm-8pm, which will include a recitation of the Holy Rosary at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5606 Bernal Drive, Dallas, Texas 75212 followed by burial at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
