Mary was born in Dallas, Texas on July 17, 1961, to Ray and Estelle Baker. She graduated from Bishop Lynch High School and continued to receive an Associates Degree in Accounting from Brookhaven College.
Mary worked as a conveyancer for the law firm of Hunter & Kramer for over 10 years. She enjoyed everything Disney, traveling to visit her extended family, researching her family genealogy, watching movies old & new, keeping in touch with friends and family through Facebook, and more recently, being a fangirl of BTS and Asian comedy-dramas.
Mary could find more jokes, memes, and video clips on the internet than anyone can count and enjoyed making people laugh with her sharp wit. She had a warm smile, gave big hugs, and remembered everyone.
Mary is preceded in death by parents Raymond B. and Mary Estelle Baker, and brother Charles E. Baker.
Mary is survived by sister Elizabeth A. Baker, best friend Brenda K. Dalton, and her extensive family and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday October 1, 2024 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Jose Luis Esparza officiating. A private committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.calvaryhilldallas.com for the Baker family.
