Martin Joseph Browne

Martin Joseph Browne of Plano, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born August 20, 1941 in Spokane, Washington to Joseph Browne and Dorothy Townsend. Marty lived in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he graduated Archbishop Carroll High School in 1964. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was Honorably Discharged in 1968. He then went on to graduate from the University of Maryland.

Marty met and married Donna Hillock, also of Silver Spring, Maryland on August 27, 1966, and there they began raising their family. Following job relocations to Alabama and New York, they finally settled in Plano, Texas, where they spent the majority of their married life until Donna’s passing in 2016. Marty was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great friend.

He is survived by sons, Kevin Browne (Jessica), Tim Browne, and, Keith Browne (Allison). "Pop Pop" will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kellen Browne, Maren Browne and Madeline Browne.

A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 1201 Alma Dr., Plano, Texas 75075.
