Maria Hedwig Walker, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left us in the evening on August 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Johnnie Walker. She is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Walker and Lisa Walker Cannon, two grandchildren, Melissa Cannon Walters and Johnnie Cannon, their spouses Matthew Walters and Michelle Cannon, and six great-grandchildren: Riley, Peyton, Emma, Kayla, Easton, and Landry. Maria will be missed everyday by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 11am at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
