Margarita Hernandez Perez

Margarita Hernandez Perez, 78 of Irving, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1944, to Guadalupe Rodriguez Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez Sr. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jesus, Martin, Daniel, and sisters, Marcelina, Mary, Nelly, and Josie.

She is survived by her companion Edmundo Perez Jr, son Julio and his wife Marina Perez, daughter Carmen Alba, daughter Cristina and her husband Jose Rivera, 7 grandchildren Adrian, Anjelica, Alex, Cecilia, Marcos, Sofia, Isabella, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margarita was a pray warrior for everyone she knew as well as those she didn’t, she would go to church every morning and loved praying the rosary and the divine mercy.

She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and would be in the stands cheering them on every time she could. In some of her spare time she would crotchet and enjoyed spending time in Daingerfield with her family. Family was everything to her!

A visitation for Margarita will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A rosary will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
