She was surrounded by her husband, children, and those that love her. Madie loved serving the Lord through teaching Sunday School and serving her community by being a member of the PTA for many years. She supported the March of Dimes and was a proud cancer survivor. Madie loved the Lord and her family deeply and will always be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
Madie was preceded in death by her parents Onie and Lois Brimer, her brothers Bobby and Scotty Brimer, and her grandson Steven Watts.
She is survived by her husband George Garlington of Mesquite, her daughter Schree Watts and husband Jackie of Mesquite, daughter Linda Wilkins of Glen Rose, and son J. Craig Davis and wife Helen, her granddaughter Mandy Dudik and husband Jeff, her grandson Scotty Watts and wife Amy, great grandchildren Kari Dudik, Dylan Watts, and Jessy Dudik all from Gatestville Tx, Brother Randy Brimer and wife Trish of Dallas, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation for Madie will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A graveside service will occur Friday, February 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232.
