Luis "Mike" Miguel Sierra

June 21, 1944 - December 15, 2021

On December 15, 2021, Luis "Mike" Miguel Sierra quietly entered into eternal rest at the age of 77.

Born on June 21, 1944 in Freeborn Minnesota to Luis Miguel Sierra Sr. and Carmen Zavala Sierra.

He was raised and lived in Dallas Texas. Mike was a dedicated employee for Bed Bath and Beyond for 26 years.

He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Dallas Texas under the pastorate care of Robert Townsend where he enjoyed attending church services for over 20 years.

Mike enlisted in the army and served a year before being honorably discharged. He had a love for working on cars, watching funny movies and reruns of Walker Texas Ranger. He had the best smile and was deeply observant. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Loved ones that have cleared the path in heaven for Mike are his father and mother Luis Miguel Sierra Sr. and Carmen Zavala Sierra; siblings, Paul Sierra, Juanita Sevilla, Robert Sierra, Guadalupe Medina, Adam Sierra and Eva Leija.

Mike is survived by his wife Maggie Sierra for over 30 years; children Frank Sierra and Margarita Sierra; Step-sons Michael Franks, Rickey Scott and Eric Scott; grandchildren Joshua Wallace and Kiaya Scott; Sister Mary Lou Cristian and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Mike will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247.
