Went home to be with the Lord on October 2, 2010. She was preceded in death by Charles F. Baker, her beloved husband of 58 years, son Bob Baker, sister Frances Burt and brother James Marion Daffron. She was born on November 30, 1912 in Plano, TX to James Lonzo Daffron and Alma Irene Clark Daffron. She was the granddaughter of John Marshall and Maude Salmon Daffron and Alvin Cullen and Marie F. Rogers Clark, who were all early settlers of Plano. Schools in Plano are named for both families. Louise graduated from Plano High School. Her family passed along a legacy of Christian values, love of family and importance of education. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was totally devoted to her family. She is survived by daughter Linda Stubblefield, husband David; daughter Sandra Clark, husband Don; daughter-in-law Sheri Baker; sister-in-law Marianna Daffron; grandsons Steve Stubblefield, wife Courtney; Scott Stubblefield, wife Tamara; Collin Clark, wife Joanna; Cody Baker and Justin Baker; granddaughters Kimberly Clark Flabiano, husband Brandon; Kelly Clark Bennett, husband Scott; great-grandchildren Jake and Phoebe Stubblefield, Jackson and Jordan Stubblefield, Emily, Olivia and Peyton Flabiano and Caroline Louise Bennett; and many nieces and nephews. Louise’s love of children led to 15 years of preschool teaching. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed music, singing, dancing, traveling and most of all spending time with her beloved family. She has been an incredible blessing to us, will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, 813 E. 15th St., Plano, TX 75074 on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00am. Visitation will be at 10:30am, prior to service. Burial at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
