His great sense of humor and wonderful story telling will be missed by all of his family, friends, church and community. He enjoyed working at “the kitchen” assisting his church family as they fed the homeless. He enjoyed his work in the field of HVAC, route driving and delivery for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Payton Moore, Jr., his sisters: Jearldine Douglass and Ethel-Marie Tutt, his grandson: Derius Bolton, and his brother in law: David Flowers.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Rhetta Jones (Bruce) and Shawnda Tate (Sean); one son Cedric McKinney (Ursula); his grandchildren, Taylor, Kenadie, Jade, Semaj and Jordan, three sisters, Esther, Joyce, and Earnestine, two brothers, Darsel (Mary) and Cleveland (Iris); nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
