He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 61 years, Ruth, daughter Linda Williams, brothers David and Willie, sisters Beatrice Dickson and Frances Johnson.
Lee is survived by daughters Lila Williams of Dallas, TX and Ledith Williams Eckols and son-in-law, Roman of Modesto, CA, sister Alice Wilson of Atlanta, TX as well as, his cousin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lee served in the Merchant Marines and later began a career as a ceramic tile contractor. He then became a machinist at LTV where he worked until his retirement.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 2 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Meadowview, 4346 N. Galloway Ave. Mesquite. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
