Kathleen Ruth FitzGerald

Fondly known as “Kathy” and “Kitten”, she graduated from Longview High School and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Kathy enjoyed spending time with family, painting and attending daily Mass. Throughout her lifetime she volunteered at St. Rita Catholic Church, St. Patrick Catholic Church, North Dallas Shared Ministries, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Justice Kerry FitzGerald, and their five children: Klaire (Will) Powers; Kyran FitzGerald; Krissy (Brian) Rawlings; Kerry (Arwen Consaul) FitzGerald; Kathy (Andrei) Perdon; nine grandchildren and her brother, Steve (Betty) Purcell and their children Terri and Sarah.

Kathy’s services will be held in the sanctuary at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lake Highlands (9643 Ferndale Road, Dallas, TX 75238) on Thursday, July 18, 2019. The Rosary begins at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass at 11:00 a.m.
