Kathi was born in Tucson, Arizona on February 27, 1950. She graduated from Palo Verde High School and attended the University of Arizona. She worked in the commercial property management field and spent countless years volunteering for her sons’ schools and athletic booster associations. More recently, she loved to visit with and hear about her four grandchildren.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Krietemeyer and Shirley Diane Krietemeyer (nee Allen), and sister, Terry Jo “Trish” Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Mele, sons Robert and Timothy, grandchildren Reagan, Caden, Charlotte, and Davis, brothers Mark and Russell (Brenda) Krietemeyer and Scott (Ann) O’Blenes, along with countless friends and extended family.
A visitation for Katherine will be held Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A memorial service will be held immediately after.
