Karl was a child during World War II. He left Germany and came to Texas in 1955. He made his United States citizenship. Masonry was his Trade with European training. Eventually he physically built his own home where he lived.
Karl enjoyed wood working and made furniture and toys for the family.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Three siblings preceded him in death and five remain. Karl died at home surrounded by family. He will be missed along with his humor.
A visitation for Karl will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Little Bethel Memorial Park, 1803 CEDAR HILL RD, DUNCANVILLE, TX 75137.
