Julie Walker Woodall passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, after a year long battle with small-cell lung cancer. Julie was born on March 8, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to Ralph J. Walker and Mildred Dickerson Walker.. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph Walker and is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy R. Woodall of Dallas, her mother, Mildred Walker of Grand Prairie, brothers, Don Walker and his wife Sammie of Arlington, Texas, and Larry R. Walker of Dallas. .Julie is also survived by five nieces and nephews and several cousins all in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. She was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed family "get togethers’". Julie attended schools in Grand Prairie, Dallas and the University of Texas in Arlington. Julie was a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for over eight years and relished the relationship that she developed with her clients. A memorial service for Julie will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, at ten a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.
