Julia Ratliff Mathis passed away September 3, 2015. Graduate of Austin College Class of 1943. Member of Craig Class, The Dallas Federation of Music Clubs. Melodies Club, past President of the Thesaurus Club and past President of the Rambouillet Club. Predeceased by husband, Lloyd V. Mathis. Lloyd and Julia were life long fans of American jazz and donated their entire collection of recordings to the University of Kansas Music Department. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews . Services were held on September 9.
