Juanita Garcia Galvan

Juanita G. Galvan, age 100, passed away on June 19, 2017 in So. Pasadena, CA. She was born on July 15, 1916 in Dallas, Texas to Mr. Carmen Garcia and Ms. Manuela Ozuna Garcia. Juanita was raised in Dallas, Texas. She married Ramon Galvan in 1947 and the couple had 7 children. She was a Food Service Technician at Rubenstein & Sons where she worked for more than 20 years. In her spare time Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved her pet dogs; another past time of hers was making them handmade throws and blankets for them. Her family and friends will always remember her as lovely and witty woman who loved her children. Her loving caring ways will always be remembered. She is preceded in death by her parents; Carmen and Manuela Garcia, her husband; Ramon G. Galvan Sr., and her son; Raymond Galvan Jr. She is survived by her children; Mrs. Marina Klau and husband, Jerome Klau of South Pasadena, CA; Mr. John Flores of Dallas, TX; Mrs. Helen Foley of Dallas, TX; Mrs. Mary Charlton and husband, Richard Charlton of Duncanville, TX; Mr. Ernest Galvan of Dallas, TX; Mrs. Christine Ibarra and husband, Fred Ibarra of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren and 74 Great Grandchildren.
