Jo Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Dickie Cole, and daughter, Margaret.
She is survived by daughter Jo Ann Cole; daughter Beth Cole Lougee (David); son Richard J. Cole, Jr. (Susie); son Laurence Cole; grandsons Clayton Lougee (Lindsay); Shane Cole (Heather), Tyler Cole, Sam Cole, Max Cole; great grandchildren Laila & Finn Lougee; brother Jack Patton (Gwen); brother-in-law George Patrick Cole and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jo Ann was born to Jack & Peggy Patton on March 31, 1934. She attended North Dallas High School, where she met and later married the love of her life, Dickie Cole.
She was a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She was a Girl Scout leader, a soccer coach, and spaghetti dinner organizer. She lit up every room she entered. She enjoyed traveling, laughing and spending time with all of her loved ones. She shared a love of French toast with all 5 grandsons and was the best grandmother/great-grandmother ever. But by far, her proudest accomplishment was being Dickie’s love and sidekick for over 69 years.
She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on forever.
Services will be Friday, July 1st,10AM, at Calvary Hill Cemetery in the North Chapel.
