Joseph Bennett Scotch Jr (JB)) left this world gently on October 20, 2016. Joseph was born in Dallas, Texas on July 11,1935 the third of 10 children born to Maggie and Joseph Scotch. He is survived by his beloved son and daughter in law, Tim and Stephanie Scotch and their children, Joseph Bennett, Madeline, Antony, Reggie and Naiya, Brother Angelo and wife Martha, Brother Jerry and wife Patti, Sister in Law, Joanne Scotch., Brother in law John Kenyon, Nephews and Nieces, Mike, Tim, Cathey, Lisa, Rod, Randy, Matthew, Sean,Tony, Michelle, Jeff, Amy, Mark, their spouses and children, numerous relatives from his wonderful large Italian family and many dear friends from his home in Streetman Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie and Joseph, beloved son, Joseph Bennett III, brothers, Ernest and Vincent, sisters, Rose Marie Blackburn, Katherine Byers, DeLois Kenyon, two infant sisters and niece Teresa Espinoza. JB served his country proudly in the United States Air Force Services and worked for many years as a driver for various freight line companies. He spent his retirement enjoying his land, animal and friends in Streetman, Texas. He had a giving heart and made regular contributions to groups that benefited veterans, children, boys homes and cancer research. In this way. we feel, he quietly supported those he loved so dearly. We extend heartfelt thanks to Walt and Debra Langdon and Carl and Aimee Hess for their love, friendship and concern for JB and the assistance they have given to us. A memorial service officiated by nephew, Rod Blackburn, and burial with military honors and last thoughts and prayer by nephew in law, Tim Tipton, will be held Nov 3 at 1 PM, at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, Dallas,Texas in the Calvary Hill Chapel.
