Jose moved to the USA in 1982 at 17 years old. He married his first love. She was the from Durango and lived down the street from where he grew up. For Jose it was love at first sight and they were married June 24, 1994.
He worked for IFF for 30 years and retired as a supervisor before going to work for McCormack. He always smelled of spices. Jose was a member of C. Villa which was also his hobby. He loved to care for horses and even owned several. In his prime he was a soccer player who enjoyed music, dancing and singing karaoke. He often chose his restaurants based on whether or not they had live music. Jose was a very happy, positive person. He was a work-a-holic who spent all his free time with his horses and his family.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia Nunez; children: Ivan Nunez, Jazmin Nunez, Joel Nunez; mother Ramona Dominguez, siblings: Juan Nunez, Manuela Soto, Bertha Nunez, Maria Huerta, Reynaldo Nunez, Gabriella Ruiz and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
