Of Greenwood Arkansas and formally of Corpus Christi Texas was born September 27, 1925 in Sweetwater Texas to John and Elizabeth Placker peacefully passed away September 9, 2016 in Talihina Oklahoma at the age of 90.

Joann and husband Bill Gilliland of Temple Texas, Susan Neuhaus of Charleston, Arkansas, Kathy Edwards of Fort Smith, Arkansas,
Janet and husband Don Harrison, Greenwood, Arkansas and
Becky Rogers of Corpus Christi, Texas.

He served three years the US Marine Corps and was a World War II veteran of Iwo Jima and Japan.
He retired from Champlin Petroleum Company after 30 years of dedicated service as an operator. He was a loyal and loving husband, father and and grandfather and will truly be missed.
