He is survived by his daughter Cristina M. Graham and her husband Blake Helm, his stepdaughter Jennifer A. Bishop, her partner Geoff Carter, one grandson, Cal, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are a son, John Jr., who died at birth, a brother Peter Graham and two sisters, Jane McCormack and Barbara Schoeppner.
John was born on January 8th, 1942, in Darby, PA and graduated from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA in 1963.
He served in the Army from 1963-1967. Following his time in the service, John spent his entire career with the Mobil Corporation.
His career took him from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and finally to Texas where he retired.
John was a man of great Catholic faith, an incredibly loving father, patriot, and true gentleman. He will forever live on in the hearts of those that know and love him. He was dearly looking forward to the imminent birth of his granddaughter, Athena. He was going to be an incredible grandfather to her and will be looking over her as a guardian angel.
A visitation for John will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush, Dallas, TX 75252. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 8:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093. A burial committal will occur Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220.
