July 11, 1946 - September 25, 2021
Jimmy Frank Bishop, age 75, a resident of Waxahachie, Texas
slipped peacefully from his earthly home to his Heavenly Home
to be with our Lord Jesus Christ for eternity.
He was born on July 11, 1946 in Waxahachie, Texas to Everett James
Bishop and Christine Lott Bishop.
He graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas
in 1964. He continued his education at North Texas State University.
He managed his family upholstery and refinishing company for over
50 years.
He also had the honor to be mentored by and to work with, in his
opinion, the most respected motivational speaker and teacher of all
time, Mr. Zig Ziglar.
Jimmy was always the most happy when he could play a part in people becoming successful.
The one thing about Jimmy that all that knew him will miss is his sincere and heartfelt smile.
He always tried to live by the "Golden Rule"... He knew that
The Holy Bible was his instruction book where he learned and
practiced five major principles which were:
1. Trust God 2. Know God's Word 3. Pray Fervently
4. Build Relationships and 5. Serve others
He was a long time member of First Baptist Church Lancaster, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol, his children, Stephanie(Terry)
Graham, Alanna Bishop, Alan Bishop; his grand children, Jordan Baker,
Jett Graham, Jackson Bishop; his niece Melanie Jones(Johnny); grand
nephew Colton Jones; niece Monica Barrington, niece Melynda Dickey,
nephew Bryan(Diane)Bishop.
He is now wrapped in the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ with all
his earthly struggles over.
His Celebration of Life graveside services will be held Saturday,
October 9, 2021 at 2:00PM. at Laurel Land Memorial Park,
6300 S R L Thornton Fwy. Dallas, Texas, 75232
