Jesse Orlando was born in Alice, Texas on November 8, 1962 to Guadalupe R. Jr. and Dora R. Vasquez. He graduated from W. W. Samuell High School in Dallas, Texas. He also attended Howard College in Big Spring, Texas.
Jesse Orlando worked for the Dallas Independent School District, Liberty Tax Service, Alfonso's Italian Restaurant, Budget Car Rental-DAL and several other companies in the customer service industry. He enjoyed art, art framing, pottery making and classic movies. He loved to play baseball, football, softball, bowling, pickleball, tennis, rugby and golf. He played college baseball at Howard College and Richland College. He was also actively involved as a player and coach in the Southwest Softball Association of the Deaf and the National Softball Association of the Deaf. He was inducted into the SWSAD Hall of Fame.
Jesse Orlando is preceded in death by his beloved mother Dora Rosales Vasquez.
Jesse Orlando is survived by his father Guadalupe R. Vasquez Jr. Brother Rolando Vasquez, Sisters Rosa Vasquez Trevino(Jesse), Janie Vasquez, Dorie Vasquez Hademenos(Nick), Leticia Vasquez Green(Alonzo) and Elida Vasquez. Nieces and Nephews: Maricela Trevino, Joseph Trevino, Hector Trevino III, Christina Trevino, Veronica Trevino, Rolando Vasquez, Brooke Vasquez, Michael Brookshire, Guadalupe Vasquez, Gabriela Vasquez, Victoria Vasquez-Tucker, Christian Tucker, Jimmy Hademenos and Sophia Hademenos. Great Nieces and Nephews: Enoc Torres, Tobias Torres, Ezra Trevino, Tsifira Trevino, Kiah Trevino, Aeris Trevino, Rowan Vasquez, Brynn Vasquez, Mia Vasquez, Emma Vasquez and many more family and friends.
Visitation and Rosary will be held at 6:00pm on September 24th at Calvary Hill Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00am on September 25th at Saint Monica Catholic Church with Fr. Andy Kmetz, IVE officiating. Committal will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
