Jerry Wayne Wolfe was born December 10, 1938 in Van Alstyne, Texas to Mattie Lee and Duward Wolfe. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Judith Haralson Wolfe. Daughters Kimberly Wolfe Osborn and Karen Wolfe Holloman. Sons in law, Cole Osborn and Steve Holloman. 3 grandchildren Nicholas Osborn, David Holloman and spouse Shannon and Laura Nielsen and spouse Steven. Great Grandchildren Oliver and Wesley Nielsen and Ezra and Eli Holloman. Sister Darlene Wolfe Clark and Spouse Lynn. Sister in law Patsy Haralson Caropresi. Along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Jerry Served in the National Guard of the Army and was called into active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was the Co-Owner with Judith of the Casa Linda Fence Company Inc. in Dallas. Jerry was a Past President of the International Fence Industry Association as well as Past Vice President for many years. He was a member of the Dallas White Rock Lions Club for over 60 years during which he was President as well as holding every office multiple times. He served in the Lions District Cabinet and was a lifetime member of Lions International. Jerry was a past member and President of the Casa Linda Neighborhood Association.
Jerry was a fine Christian Man. He was a former member of the Lakeside Baptist Church on Garland Rd in Dallas where he served and taught the youth as well as serving in many other capacities. He was currently a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Dallas. Jerry was a very sociable person who enjoyed traveling and having many wonderful friends. He graduated from Garland High School and attended the University of North Texas and SMU.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint James Episcopal Church, 9845 McCree Road, Dallas, TX 75238, with a small reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
