Jerry was raised in Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Escambia High School in 1962.
Military Information: Sgt. in US Army / 25th Infantry Division; Cu Chi Vietnam 1966-1967.
He married Virginia Irene Maki Spivey in 1967 and the couple had 2 Children. Jerry attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Graduated with a degree in Minister of Education. He was a Southern Baptist Minister and served many churches in Texas, North Little Rock, AR and Pensacola, FL.
In his spare time Jerry enjoyed golfing, watching the Blue Angels, enjoying Pensacola Beach with family and spending time with his grandchildren.
His family and friends will always remember his very sweet spirit with a firm handshake and a warming smile. He never met a stranger.
