Jean Grace Houston

Known as Mama to her offspring, she was a lover of life whose motto was to “have fun!” which was quite contagious to those who knew her!

Jean’s impressive and widely varied career included full-time housewife and mother to four children, bilingual secretary, office manager, entrepreneur and stock broker.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in ‘56, Jean was very involved as treasurer and member of reunion committee for over 50 years. Jean loved dancing, traveling, parties, people, music, camping, bingo, the Texas State Fair and going and doing just about anything!

Jean is survived by daughters Kay Houston Caico, Karen Houston Holloway, Sharla Houston Pine; son Robert “Rob” Conway Houston, Jr; sister Kathy Grace, brother Mark Grace; Grandchildren: Houston Wengert, Keerstyn Davis, Holton Schwartz, Preston Schwartz, Chris Houston, Kimberly Pine, Kaitlin Pine, and Tommy Pine; and Great-grandchildren: Tristan Houston, Payton Davis, and Tommy John Davis.

Mama will be greatly missed by us all. Mama’s Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on May the 4th, 2019 at 10am.

She will be in our hearts, souls, and memories forever.
