Jason Michael Crane

Jason Crane, 31, of Richardson, Texas passed away on August 1, 2013. Born in Midland, Texas on February 17, 1982, growing up he lived in Alaska and Venezuela, but made his home in suburban Dallas. Jason graduated from Bishop Lynch High School and earned two Bachelors of Arts, one in Theology, and another in History, from the University of Dallas. Jason then pursued a CAD certificate from Collin College, which lead to his employment as a draftsman at Herndon McFarland Plumbing.

Jason loved the Lord, the Catholic Church, his family, his dogs, sci-fi, and French fries (most likely in that order). He will long be remembered for his generous heart, his unwavering sense of right and wrong, and for holding Fridays sacred from homework and chores and for eating pepperoni pizza. He was a master of random trivia, amateur architect, computer gaming wiz and dog lover.

Jason is survived by his parents, Donna and Steven Crane, his sister, Jennifer Carroll and her husband Jack, his grandparents Mildred Crane, and Edward Kujalowicz, his aunts and uncles: Jeanne Haas, Cathy and Ted Parker, Cindy and Paul Kujalowicz, Joann and Hussain Ali, Judy and Scott Moldenhauer, Julia and Ed Kujalowicz, many beloved cousins, his pups Gidget and Rosie, and his fur-nephew, Harley. His grandparents Wendy Kujalowicz, and Edward Crane, and uncle Gary Haas precede him in death.

Jason’s life will be celebrated at a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter Road, Richardson. Interment to follow immediately at Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 Northwest Highway, Dallas.

Jason left us far too soon, but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
