Janice is survived by her husband Ron Weldon of Celeste, TX, her father Bob (Kathryn) Pardo of College Station, TX, her mother Barbara May Pardo of Bedford, TX, sister Angela Fresh of Ft. Worth, TX, brother John R. Pardo, Jr, of DuPont, WA, nieces Stacy Schiratto, Emily Pardo and nephews Shane Fresh, Rob Pardo, Christopher Pardo. Janice was also survived by many other relatives and friends that loved her dearly. Radar, her loving Chow-retriever, will miss her as will all the other dogs, cats and horses that Janice was so compassionate about.
Janice was born in Tampa, FL on September 15, 1960; she graduated from LD Bell High School. She held many positions as executive assistant for many high profile companies. She married Ronald A. Weldon, October 8, 1994.
Janice enjoyed horse riding, traveling, working at the Blue Armadillo Winery, the love of family and friends and the furry friends too. Her true passion in life was her dedication to charities such as local Radar Rescue, Code 3, and animal rescues. She helped facilitate the events - Greenville Bras for the Cause, Backstreet Bark and other community involvements, such as Friends of Main Street. Janice loved her country, with a heart for the veterans, as she was very proud of the military men in her life. She had a passion for people and ensuring her Christianity. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her, an angel on earth.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 on Wednesday at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Rd. Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be2:00pm, Friday October 29, 2010 Highland Terrace Baptist Church 3939 Joe Ramsey Blvd., Greenville, TX.
The family suggests memorial may be made to a local charity in Janice’s Name.
